"I have 2 pitbulls who weigh 70 and 85 pounds. Most of the toys I buy for them are torn up in about a week, some times less. Ever since I bought them this bone they chew it morning, noon and night and play with it as it if were a real bone. They haven't destroyed it yet but I do notice some wear. I have a feeling it will be one of the only toys I bought them besides the Kong that hold up."

"I used to buy the Souper bones for my two big chewers, a golden retriever and a lab/german shorthair mix, but they had them chewed up or lost under the couch within 3 months. These Big Chews are the best things since sliced bread. I bought two last Christmas and we are now just looking to replace them. They chew morning, noon and night and the vet always compliments them on their pearly white teeth. Plus it keeps them from chewing things they are not supposed to. I would recommend these without hesitation to anyone who has big dogs or even small dogs for that matter."

"Although this is a pretty good size, both my mid-sized dogs can easily chew these. Long lasting and not messy like a rawhide can be."

"I love Kong dog toys, but I decided to try something different when my dog power chewed right through some of its toughest toys. My dog is a menace when it comes to toys, and she will destroy just about anything within 30 minutes.
Thankfully an employee, who is the owner of a bully breed, told me about how our dog might need a Nylabone. I was skeptical at first, because I had not researched it online first, but I bought it.
Amazingly, it has lasted a few weeks with our dog power chewing it, and it barely has any scratches. She absolutely loves it, and she carries it around the house often. Unlike other toys, this one really holds up to a power chewer. She might be a little small, but she's a big time chewer, and this actually holds up.
I would recommend this to other people, and I will definitely buy Nylabone again. My dog gives it two paws up. ;)"

"Other reviews got me to purchase this "indestructible" bone for big chewers (for example, our dog took a bit out of our Honda Civic bumper, so he needs some serious chews), but our dog won't get near it. Not enough give, no smell or taste, and so while it will remain indestructible, I have little use for it."

"We have a 4 1/2 yr old yellow lab that would chew through every bone and toy we gave her. This is the first thing that she cannot destroy!! She loves it, she carries it around all day and chews on it non stop. We bought it at Petco back in January and it is still holding up. This is the only chew toy we will buy for our dog."

"My Rottweiler-Doberman puppy was able to destroy most "durable" toys within an hour. Not only did he fall in love with this toy instantly, it lasted for months! The interesting shape kept him entertained for hours at a time."

"Our weimaraner mix can usually tear up toys very quickly. I bought one of these Nylabones about 6 months ago and she is still chewing on it with minimal damage. I highly recommend it to big chewers."

"Our 60 lb, 7 month old Golden went through her Christmas toys within days....nothing stood up to those teeth!!! Then we purchased this big chew. Its great, she can chew and chew and it is still standing!!! And because its a Nylabone, she can continue to chew for a long time before we have to replace it! Now I can feel good about buying Nylabone products because it makes her happy and me happy cuz I'm not throwing money away."

"Didn't know what to do. I gave my puppy everything to chew but he liked my deck, porch, and house to chew on. I finally bought the Nylabone Big Chews for Big Dogs and he no longer chews up the house. Hurray!!!! for the Big Chews, I still have a house."

"My husband and I just adopted an 8 month old lab/pitbull mix and she can chew through just about anything. Nylabones big chews have been a lifesaver. She tore through an XXL Kong (made out the the tough black rubber) in under 15 min. Thank goodness for Nylabone!"

"I have a Golden Retriever thats about 2 years aold, & she is one of the toughest & most vigorus chewers I have ever seen! I love all the nylabone products, but this one is by far the best if you have a big dog! It lasts my dog months! Keeps her busy & makes her happy! I have even flavored these bones a few times by soaking it in a bowl of water & flavor cubes, referigerate it for a few hours to a day, & she LOVES it! Im telling ya ive worked w/ animals including dogs for over 13 years, if you have a big dog, get one, you wont regret it!"

"We bought this for our 90 pound yellow lab and he just went to town on it...I loved that no little pieces flew off of it...its safe for the carpet( no stains) and it didnt upset our Labs tummy...every one was happy!"
