"We have two cats (Puck 8lbs and Tea 10lbs) and they love this litter box. They have always shared it and always used it correctly which, personally, is enough to make me love the Booda Dome! We also use the Fig fragrance in the dome and it actually smells GOOD.
Only complaint!...the white color gets dirty and dusty easily.
Other then that...very impressed with this product!"

"I love the look of this litter. However I am very disappointed by it. Urine leaks out when my cat urinates, which means it doesn't smell good and I need to wash the floor everytime, which is at least once a day. I've had it for two weeks now, I have tried different ways to avoid this, but I am gonna have to give up and buy another litter."

"When I read the reviews and product description I was excited about the litter box. However, occasionally, the cat will urinate on the border of the dome and some of this gets outside the litter box and onto the mat. This leads to an awful smell and you also have to wash the mat. It does not happen all the time, but it does happen. I tried using this dome with several amounts of litter in the box (for different heights). It is enough of a problem to prompt me to try out the top entry litter box."

"the bowl-shaped design of the box is roomy enough for my kitty to turn in circles and do his "buisness" and keeps the litter in the box when he covers it!
the liner that came with it dosent really fit that good, so i had to buy different ones.
it dosent keep in odor the way i was hoping it would, i use the charcoal filter but i dont think it makes a difference in the smell."

"I love this shape for a litter box; it fits in places that the rectangular litter boxes don't. It's worked well for my tiny 3 yr old cat. My only issue is that it's not working as well for my new older kitty. She's a very large (I think about 20-25 lbs) 13 yr old that I just adopted from a friend. I think because of her size and age, she's having a hard time manuvering herself into the pan. Several times, she has missed, but I don't think it has anything to do with the litter box itself. For those who have more "normal" size cats, this is an AWESOME litter pan! I have been very happy with it over the past few years and am sad now that I have to replace it!"

Booda Dome Litter Pan

"I am very picky about my decor and I didn't want a new kitten cramping my style around the house. I must admit that my primary reason for purchasing the Booda Dome was based on looks alone. I have the tan-colored dome and the neutral color goes well with practically any surrounding. I also love that my 4 week old kitten can hop in, scratch around all he wants, turn in circles, do his business then bounce out leaving everything out of sight. It is very easy to clean & reassemble due to the simple structure and lack of crevices and moving parts like many other boxes. My kitten has stopped using the open litter pan altogether so it's got his vote, too.
**There is a charcoal filter but I'm not quite sure how that works seeing as how the entrance to the pan is much larger than the filter slots. I change the litter frequent enough that I don't anticipate that being an issue."

"My 11 lb cat fits perfectly in this litter pan -- I like the round shape because in the rectangular pan my cat would walk around in circles sometimes, and not really have enough room to do that. In this pan she can walk around in circles before she does her business, and seems very comfortable in there. This pan is also very easy to clean."

"The Booda dome covered litter box is okay. It's not tall enough for my big cat. I have this one and two of the Booda castles. The plastic liners are a waste. They're too small and my cats tear them to shreds."

"I live in a small apartment and this litterbox works great for odor and appearance! My kitten is 2 months old and loves this box! It also holds more litter than a regular litter box. My only complaint would also be the litter that tracks out, but I put a small rug in front so it hasn't been a problem."

No More Sandy Carpets!

"I was looking for a covered litter box for my newest cat, Buddha, and discovered the "Booda" domed litter boxes. At first I was drawn to the iris color and then the round shape really got my attention. When I saw the brand name I had to laugh to myself, but when I paid closer attention to the design and the replaceable charcoal filter I decided to give it a try. Not only did I love the fact that the filter and the shape keep the odors at bay, but finally I had a box that kept the loose litter in where it belonged. Buddha's first time or two were strange, he backed in and left his front half outside of the box. After another try or two, though, he was going right in and turning around and peeking out the little opening in the front. Buddha and I both appreciate the fact that it's very tall inside and I love the round liners that came with it and have since bought many more. Changing the box is so easy, I just pop the top off with the convenient handle and grab the sides of the liner and twist it up and out it comes. I've also discovered that with the shape I don't use as much litter at a time and that saves me a lot of money. So, yes, I would, (and already have,) recommend this to my friends. The iris color is a much prettier shade of silvery/purple in person than it is in a photograph. I just saw they were on sale and I'll be replacing my other two conventional boxes right away with more of these!"

"I have this litter pan in a corner of my bathroom because it is one of the only non-carpet rooms in my home. I didn't want to spend $100 on an automatic litter pan but I did want to conceal the smell. Soo... this litter pan has been perfect and my cat has plenty of room in the dome."

"I've had this litter box for 2 weeks and it's going be donated to the animal shelter. It leaks everywhere, it's not big enough for my cat to stand up or turn around in, and it's so small that he cannot scratch to cover his business so it stinks worse than a regular litter box!"
