Great leash!
Date: April 9, 2008
"I bought the leash to replace a similar type that broke. I can use it on either my 5 lb dog or the 20 lb. one; it is strong enough for the big guy too and the handle is very comfortable. I also like the quality of the material."

Nice upgrade from a standard leash
Date: February 13, 2008
"I'm not sure if the handle of this leash really qualifies as "soft," but it's a great, strong leash that gives our miniature schnauzer far more land to explore during our morning walks. If you're used to an ordinary leash locked between your fingers, be sure to hold on tight to the grip the first few times you use it!"

Good Choice for a Calm Dog
Date: February 8, 2008
"I liked this product and was very happy with it until two things happened. First, when my Beagle saw a cat on a walk she took off real fast and ran that cord accross my arm creating a nice rope burn. Second, the cord eventually got nics in it and broke after about 6 months. We ended up purchasing the retractable belt from the same brand."

Not for Chewers!!!
Date: October 3, 2007
"Bought the Flexi Comfort 3 for our 7 month old lab puppy. He loved the freedom this leash provided. In fact, he loved it so much that when we stopped to chat with a neighbor and had retracted the leash to about 2 feet, he spun around and in 2 bites chewed right through it. I spoke with Flexi USA customer service looking for a "chew proof" model knowing that chewing was not covered under warranty. They DO NOT have a model that is "chew proof". All the models they have are able to be chewed through. They did, however, offer me a replacement cost of $28 with proof of purchase. It is too bad they do not make a model that is designed for dogs that are chewers. If they did, I would be first in line to buy one."

Nick in leash
Date: August 30, 2007
"I love the Flexi Comfort 1, 16 foot leash but unfortunately it developed a nick in the cord. I do not know if or when it will break but it makes me nervous when I walk my little pooch. The warrenty is only good for 1 year and I had the product for almost two and have long forgotten where the receipt for the leash is located. I would of thought the product would last a lot longer than it did. The cord is very very strong and I do not think it would get a nick or if I snagged it without knowing that it happened. Where the nick came from, I have no idea. My pooch is not a chewer so she did not do it. I normally walk the pooch on the sidewalk so there isn't anything for the cord to snag on. I think the product was defective to start with but am unable to prove it. I noticed that there are pretty good warning about NOT replacing the cord or opening the case. Hence.....I am just about out of a leash and keep hoping the thing will not break when I am walking the dog around the streets. My suggestion to others is to take a close exam of your leash to make sure it has no defects when purchased. I wish they were not that expensive but.........they are."

Love this leash!
Date: January 6, 2007
"This is a really great retractable leash. My pugs tend to be walking alot then run for something, and the rubberized grip helps me maintain control. It also is comfortable on long walks, and does not "lock up" when you release the locking feature. I'd definately buy another one."

Nice to have, but not a city essential
Date: July 6, 2006
"For most NYC walks, a 4ft leash is more than enough. But for those few instances where puppy/ dog can really run around in, I'm sure it'll come in handy. For a small dog, the Retractable Leashes with disposable bags is unnecessary. Our puppy poops a few times a day & 1 bag per walk is beyond enough =>"

Comfortable and Durable!
Date: May 9, 2006
"This is the most comfortable retractable leash I have ever used. It is small and so lightwieght you almost don't notice it. I have small hands and so many other retractable leashes feel very clunky and do not fit my hand. This fits my hand perfectly. This is also extremely durable! It has survived 3 years with a VERY strong sheltie through "proposed" duck chasing and car herding and is still going strong. (Thankfully, we were finally able to stop the car herding). We recently got a bulldog and we will be getting another of these for her."

Retractable leash
Date: April 24, 2006
"My Australian Cattle Dog can be hard to handle in public and I wanted a leash that would give me more control when we went to the beach several years ago. This leash worked for me because I could control how far my red healer went from me.It has lasted for 2 years and is still in good condition."
