Good food, good price

"Our retired racer was fresh off the track with a sensitive stomach, and we bought this by recommendation from his foster. He had absolutely no digestive issues with this food and had firmer stools within days. He eats this as fast as he eats his treats, and will stare at the pantry around dinnertime until he's fed. After a lot of research, some horror stories about a few other brands, and our own positive experience, we would definitely recommend this food."

One strong dog!

"Coal turned one this past December and we changed his puppy diet to an adult dog food. The breeder we bought him from recommended Pro Plan for him. He loves it! Meal time lasts about 3 seconds flat!!! He is such happy dog and has grown into such a BIG boy! Pro Plan is perfect for him, it gives him all the nutrients he needs for a growing dog. It also provides him with all the energy a Husky needs daily. Now if I could find something to keep up with him!"

Helping my best friend live pain free

"I found my dog, a lab and pibull mix, at a gas station in a small town in Idaho. A little boy was trying to find a home for him as he was the last of the litter. I instantly fell in love with him and brought him home. He has been one of the greatest gifts in my life and now that he is getting along in years he suffers from some arthritis and would occasionally limp on his back leg. I have always fed Purina Pro Plan to my dogs and when I saw the Large Breed Formula with glucosamine, I started feeding him that. He rarely limps now and is like a young dog again ! Thank you Petco for carring this dog food !!"

easy to switch

"I have 2 dobermans and needed to switch them to adult food. Pro Plan made the switch easy on my dogs. They did not get the usual stomach upset and loose stools when I switched them. The large breed puppy and the large breed adult are very similar and made the transition easy. And my dogs seem to love the taste."

The Best I Have Ever Used

"I am a breeder of German Shorthair Pointers. I have tried some of the top dog food brands. Most causing loose stools and weight loss.
With GPS dogs, they are very active animals and run off most of what they eat. With the Pro Plan, I have found there stools are firm and NO weight loss at all. My adults have a nice weight now. They are not overweight. They have healthier coats and they seem stronger.
These dogs of ours are hunters and run and swim. Needing the extra nurishment that Pro Plan has.
I love what I see in this food, and what it does for my dogs.
My puppies are also on the Pro Plan Puppy food, giving them a great start in life. Giving them strong bones, great coats and the extra nurishment for their active lives.
I will recommend this food to all I know. This best that I have every used."

Great Product For Large Dogs

"My Golden Retriever was on the regular Pro Plan formula and gained some weight after being spayed. She has been on the large breed formula for over a year now and has lost over 9 lbs in that time. I have kept her food portion the same. Her vet. says that she is at a very healthy weight for her size now. Her coat is beautiful and has not lost any shine."

Pro Plan Adult Large Breed Formula

"I have been using this product for 7 years for my 80lb. golden retriever. He has not lost any vitality. There are no signs of athritis, I believe because this product contains glucosamine. This is the only food he gets besides a biscuit once in a while. Large dogs still need plenty of exercise to keep fit and healthy. I'm sure Pro Plan Large Breed Formula plays a big part in keeping him healthy, happy, and arthritis free.
