"Our lab Ginger is 4 and has suffered with allergies for years. After many medications and sprays I finally thought to change her food. My friend recommend Natrual Balance and boy am I glad I listened! Within 2 weeks Ginger's coat is amazing - my mom even thought we were getting her groomed every week! My husband who thought I was crazy for changing her food finally gave in and said there was a big change in Ginger. I think this food even reduced her shedding! If your dog is biting and itching up a storm please try this food."

"Natural Balance just recently changed their formula for this food. The old formulas first four ingredients were Potato, Duck Meal, Duck, and Potato Protein.... Now the "New Improved Formula" is Potato, Duck, Potato Protein, Canola Oil....... They claim its better but you can see for yourself that the meat content is far less. Duck MEAL is better that just Duck because just Duck includes water weight. Now its just a bunch of potato, and the potato protein is useless to the dog any ways but boosts the protein content on the bag label so it looks better to the consumer. Disappointed because I used to strongly recommend this product, now I just hear complaints because dogs don't tolerate the formula. Even ones that have been on the old one for years."

"I just bought this product 2 days ago, MY DOG loves it. i'm trying to see if helps for his skin allergy of licking & biting. BUT no matter he loves it. I put warm water to soften it. NOW he runs to eat."

"I had tried other natural balance products and was pleased so didnt think it was much of a risk to switch them to this one. BIG MISTAKE...at first I thought I had been overfeeding them because they were leaving their food, or VERY slow to eat it, then after several days I realized it was the food they hate PLUS their feces are still soft, runny yuck...would never get this again..spent $$ on huge bag now have to throw it out and get something else..."

"I have a 17 month old boxer that has a lot of food allergies I recently tried the duck & potato food my dog loves it and it has nothing in it that she is allergic to her skin is looking great and the price is a lot better than the other name brand food I was having to buy. Tracy won't eat the other food if you give her both food together she will pick out all the duck & potato and leave the rest. I will be buying more of this food. "We have two Silky Terriers, a 2 year old and 7 month old. We thought our 2 year old would have to live with allegies forever. When our 7 month old developed allergies, we thought this was the breed. A friend recommended this food because her dog also developed allegies and her research concluded that the grains in other foods we the culprit. We were skeptical about this but thought we would give it a try. Why not, we had already seen the vet 3 times this year for $600 in allergy medication. What a difference this food made. Within 2 weeks both dogs quit scratching, biting, hacking and sneezing. They both have more energy, as if a terrier breed needs more energy, their coats are soft and shiny. The 2 year old has always been picky about his food and we can't stop him from eating this food. Give this food a chance, your pet will be happier and healthier for it!"

Jack Russell stopped shedding at almost 8 yrs old!

"I can't say enough good about this food. Our dog had suffered from allergies for years, which were characterized by foot licking until she bled, severe yeast and bacterial infections on her skin and shedding like she would just go bald! We thought they were inhalation allergies but, when the symptoms didn't ease off this last winter, our vet suggested we find a novel protein food to try her on. We tried lamb and fish but she would eat them a couple of times, then quit eating altogether. She liked duck fillets (jerky) and we found this and the same formula cruchy treats at Petco. She actually liked it and kept eating it. She's been on it for several months and all of her skin problems have cleared to a much more manageable level. We were surprised when we noticed she had stopped shedding. We always thought it was a Jack
Russell thing. I'm not saying a hair never falls off of her but she now sheds less than any other dog we've ever had, except a poodle. This is a great food!"

"I recently switched my frenchies to the potatoe and duck food. Bella was so allergic, she had red paws and red on her tummy! Since I have switched she is off her steroids and allergy free!! We found out it was the rice, which is in so many foods!I cant thank you enough!!"

"I have an American Bulldog/pitt mix and he has allergies and is about 9 months old. I have tried him on several things and found out he can't have chicken or rice. He never has been a bigger eater in the mornings and would seem to only eat when he was really hungry. I got him the Potato and Duck formula last night and as soon as I put it in his bowl he tasted one piece and then just chowed down, I have never seen him eat so fast. This morning when I put his food out he ran right to it and ate the whole thing which he has never done so I am excited he likes the food, hopefully in the next week or so his itching will stop."

"My 3 dogs get so excited when I bring home Natural Balance dog food. Love that there are several brands that are allergy formulated. One of my doggies has sensitive skin and this well balanced brand keeps him looking fit and healthy.

"I have a 3 year old pitbull who is allergic to grains. This food is woderful. we spent so much money bringing her to the vet trying to figure out why she was so itchy and had an upset stomach. We have a friend that works at Petco and she recommended we try Natural Balance, Duck and Potato blend. Our dog has not had an issue since. I highly recommend this product!!"

"I have been very skeptical of any foods that make claims to help with irritable bowel, gastro problems because none of them ever worked for my 13 yr. old shepherd/huskie mix. She had withered away to around 45lbs. and we thought that it would just be a matter of time. Now with this food and a change in feeding schedule, not only is she keeping down food, she is gaining much needed weight. This is worth every penny! We recently added a new puppy to the family as well, and he only wants the duck and potato. So you know that it taste good!"

"Our Rat Terrier had very over-active "butt" glands and our vet said that's frequently caused by food allergies, and highly recommended this particular product. Within two weeks, we saw a dramatic change and haven't had a problem with her glands since (about 2 years ago). Since then, this is the only dog food we've purchased, and have provided it our two other dogs (including puppies), who are very healthy and look beautiful. Highly recommend it."
