Our lab Ginger is 4 and has suffered with allergies for years. After many medications and sprays I finally thought to change her food. My friend recommend Natrual Balance and boy am I glad I listened! Within 2 weeks Ginger's coat is amazing - my mom even thought we were getting her groomed every week! My husband who thought I was crazy for changing her food finally gave in and said there was a big change in Ginger. I think this food even reduced her shedding! If your dog is biting and itching up a storm please try this food.

My dog Nico a little 11lb dog has very bad allergies. Natural Balance L.I.D. Potato & Duck has been an excellent dog food for him. I have tried others (allergy products), but I always come back to this product. I decided to order it online and this was a very smooth/fast transaction.

I have a pit bull mixed with black lab. She had bad skin irritations that I grew very concerned when they would turn into scabs. I took her to the vet, who said that it could have been food allergies (possible to the wheat/grains). We had her try a couple of popular food brands. Finally, we tried a prescribed small bag of expensive food. She gobbled through that bag very fast. It was getting too expensive. I noticed that Natural Balance was Grain-Free so I tried it out. Her skin has not had any irritations thus far and she is much happier :D This is a Great product!

I prefer Dick Van Patten's Natural Balance over all other dog foods. It is healthy, wholesome, very few chemicals, and affordable. I also use the scheduled repeat delivery which has been very helpful.

My local PetCo is not on a regular route that I drive, however I must go there 2 times a month for my dog's food. I ordered this on line on a Saturday morning (of a holiday weekend) and it was delivered to my home by Thursday. With the holiday slaes price, plus free shipping, I paid less than what I normally do at the store! A win-win situation overall. Thanks for the prompt service!

My 2 large dogs seem to really enjoy the taste of the dog food. The only problem that I see is that they both are always extremely hungry all of the time. I feed them approx. 2 oz. each more per day then the recommended amount. My Lab will start asking for more food 10 minutes after I have just fed her.

I had switched my boxer pup from pedigree to Natural balance. He had awful gas and his stools were fairly loose. So i figured instead of having him on a food that isn't overly good for him, that I want him to be on one that is benefitual. It might not work for everyone but it has worked for my lil guy thus far. I will def be keeping him on Naturall balance.

My dog was constantly throwing up. I tried three different dog foods (Science Diet, Beneful, and one other). He still would throw up about 2-3hrs after eating. I thought it might be a stomach problem, but it wasn't. He was just allergic to grain, do me a favor and give your dog this food before you spend hundreds or even thousands on vet visits.

I have been using Natural Balance L.I.D. Potato & Duck Dry Dog Food for both my dogs for several years. I originally started using it for my soft-coat Wheaten Terrier, who has an extremely sensitive stomach. I tried several other "natural" and premium brands, as well as other home rememdies before sticking with the Potato and Duck formula.
Pro: Seems to work the best for my dog.
Con: Expensive, and fortunately I am down to 2 dogs (one small one) so it isn't as costly as when I had 4 dogs on it!

This brand dog food is the best I have chosen for my dogs. I will not use another dog food brand. I like the balance in each nutrient with a lower protein level. The duck and potato is a winner with my girls ^".."^

This product has solved a lot of GI problems for my 100 lb Lab Retriever. He had multiple issues including pancreatitis until we hit on this dog food about 6 months ago. No problems since then. His digestive tract is functioning beautifully and he is healthy and fit!

9 yr rescue boxer has had awful skin condition for 5 years. Numerous vets, thousands of dollars, no results. Started feeding Natural Balance L.I.D. dry. One month later? The oily extremely skin and awful smell is GONE! A huge bonus is that she is finally playful and affectionate. She mostly slept & scratched before this food. I couldn't believe that steroids, antibiotics, prescription diets, topical ointments, probiotics (and more) didnt help her and this food is curing her. I am giving the small bites version to my shih tzu's. They love the taste and seem healthier then ever...Thank you SO very much, this food is fantastic! (Just wish small bites came in larger bags)

I feel this is a good product, as my dog does like the treats. However he would not eat the food. He is going through some phase right now, he is a Pit/Boxer mix, an anxious type of personality, with many allergies. I only bought this product, as it was recommended to me by a customer in the store for her pit mix male, with allergies and he was doing great on it. So again, I do not blame the product, it's my dog. I would recommend this product for dogs with allergies.

I always purchase my food online because it is easier then running out with the baby and getting a giant bag of food. When I ordered my food online the cost was $51 and as usual I placed my order. My $5 reward would not work on line so I ended up running to the store to buy dog cookies. I happened to check the price of the food, exact same size bag and it was on sale for $46. Needless to say I already placed my order and it was to be delivered the next day. What I am disappointed about is the price difference online and in the store. Next time I will go to the store and get it there.

I have a 5 year old Golden. He's been on this product for the last couple of years. He has allergies and this is the best product we found to help with the skin scaling issue. And it doesn't have a bad smell that some of the dog foods have. It also helps him not have as much gas as he had on other foods. LOVE this product. We use the Treats as well to keep him on a limited intake of ingredients.
