"My cat Pinkie went absolutely crazy on this mat! She rolled and kicked and wiggled until she wore herself out. The first night she had it she slept on it! Great exercise for Pinkie and I love watching her on this mat. A must buy!"

"The second this mat came out of the box my cat was licking and rolling all over it. He lays on it all the time. His sister would like to play with it but anytime she gets on the mat he's there to push her off. Guess I'm going to have to buy another one."

"I brought home these Boogie Mats, and my handsome cats IMMEDIATELY turned into the cutest, goofiest, funnest cats! Each cat chose one, and without hesitation began rubbing all over the mat, licking it, and my Russian Blue has probably drooled a gallon's worth all over the mat. Gross? Yes. Cute? Absolutely :)

"Oh boy, do my cats love this mat! Before I even had a chance to put the catnip in, they were all over it. I have one cat who is not interested whatsoever in nip, but she loves this thing too. She plays with the tassles and likes to snuggle on it. This mat is very well made....and the tassles are sewn on expertly. No chance of any of my fur babies swallowing anything. Just to mention, if you are a multiple cat household you might want to consider getting more than one of these to avoid any"arguments" over who is going to lay on this."

"I recently purchased this product and just received it today. I could not get this mat off the packaging fast enough. My cats are rubbing their faces all over it, rolling on their backs and wiggling. They love it. I highly recommend purchasing this product. You will love it. "Watching my cat react to the catnip on this mat was nothing short of hilarious! It was like he was rolling around in a pile of money. He turned on his back & rubbed his whole body on it! Then he would pick it up & bite it. It was like he was wrestling with it. He was in a complete trance and couldn't stop. He would pause every so often, with a blank stare, and then go right back to it. It was actually worrying me a bit. Catnip is powerful. But it was funny. I think the catnip wears off pretty quickly though. Just buy some extra & refill the inside when they lose interest."

"This was recommended by a cashier one day, so eventually I bought one. Both of my cats love it. They would lay on it, chew it, play with it, fight over it.
I bought one for a friend's cat, who loves it just as much.

"My 8yr old female cat loves this mat. Similar to another reviewer's cat, mine uses it as her bed. She takes her afternoon naps on it. She also likes to roll on it. Funny enough, my 9mo old puppy loves it, too! He drags it around the house when his feline sister is elsewhere. Good thing the mat is well-made since he likes to chew at the corners/pom-poms. I'd give it 5 stars if it was a bit larger. Overall, a good purchase."

"The Boogie Mat was my kitten's first introduction to catnip, so I assumed she'd like it...but even days after her first sniff (when she tackled it, wrestled the mat across the floor and thought she was in 7th heaven :), I now find her wandering over to the mat when she wants a tussle followed by a short nap. It's like her little "zen zone" where she chills out. It's really pretty so I don't mind it lying around the living room floor with the added bonus that it can travel with her, making it the perfect, portable, "favorite blanket"."

"I had a very neurotic cat and this was the only thing he would play with. He would drag it around the house and even sleep/cuddle with it when he wasn't playing. I ended up buying more just so there wouldn't be any fights between the cats."

"My neutered female loved it. My neutered male, for some reason, sniffed it, rolled around on it, then urinated on it. I mentioned it to a friend who has one, and she said the same thing happened in her house -neutered female loved it, neutered male urinated on it. Two examples doesn't make a trend necessarily, but I offer for what it's worth."

"I got this for my cat when I first found her in summer 2004 (it's August 2007 now), and it remains one of her favorite toys, especially after a catnip recharge. She does indeed "boogie" on this mat: she rolls, gets under it, and generally crashes around. One of her favorite games is for a feather toy on a stick to "hide" under the mat and dart out for her to attack it; she loves to dive into the crinkly-crackly mat to attack (the noise must be satisfying or something). She also loves to discover toys hidden under the mat or to chase off toys positioned on the mat; a lot of times, before I go somewhere, I stage the mat with hidden toys so that she'll have something to play with and keep her active while I'm gone. It's really easy to refill the mat with catnip, too; there's a small zipper you open, and then you basically dump catnip of your favorite brand in, where it catches on a foamlike mat for even distribution. If your cat doesn't like catnip, you could just skip that whole process and still have a crinkly mat (you know how cats love that sound) for your cat to play with. The designs on the mat are great, too. This one's a keeper."
