"My friend got a hamster about... 1-2 years ago.. that's a REALLY Good cage, when her hamster ( Snickers ) runs on the wheel, it doesn't even squeak! I RECOMMEND THIS 100% PERCENT! Also its nice for cleaning out the cage cause you can put the hamster on that top little house thingy.."

"I got this cage about 2 years ago also when I got my dwarf hamster Bundles! RIP:( It was a really good buy at first! But then the the plastic started to crack and the wheel started to get pretty loud! It wasn't the easiest cage to clean but you got used to it! The cage was small though so I'd only recomend it for dwarf hamsters! But other than that it was an ok buy!"

"Ive had this cage for about a year. My hamster seems to like it alot. But there are some problems. When i first got it, In the night, My dwarf hamster would run in the "silent" wheel and i would wake up. The wheel shakes the cage alot and makes a big noise, But all you have to do is buy the 5 dollar wheels and oil them once in a while. Also, if your the kind of owner who loves to spoil your animals, this cage is quite small, so you wont be able to fit alot in it, be sure to move things around.
Since its kinda small. I bought tubes, and connecting houses for about 10$ each. Overall, Get this cage. Its quite easy to clean, and nothing has really broke off, or bent."

"I've never had something break from Sam, but maybe a few thins gnawed. On maybe my third time cleaning this, the base snapped in half. I got a CritterTrail X after that (this was like 4 years ago) and it broke. Then I got a Sam Palace Kit (3 years ago) and it still works great!"

"i bought this 4 my sister4 her birthday ,its not a good cage with in a week the door was broke and it started falling apart ,when i cleaned it it was a pain to take apart it was hard to put together i would never recomed this product to a friend!!!"

"The cage is great! I've had it for about a year now, and it's still holding up. There isn't much room, but if you let your hammys exercise in an exercise ball, they'll be fine. My oldest hamster likes to chew the bars, but the paint just comes off, no biggie. But she is a little psyco. My other hamster (who is sane) does just fine. He loves it! My little girl has the pink Crittertrail, and she has shaken the door so it's loose, but I just wrap a pipe cleaner around it so she can't open it. I would definitley recommend this product."

"I got this cage from my friend and it was pretty good, but since it has bars, Lola was gnawing her face off (literally) every night and it was getting really annoying. After a while, the latch to open the cage got loose so i had to lock her in with a diary lock. Yeah. Other than that, I guess it wasn't too bad, but I have to warn you that if your hamster doesn't want to be picked up at the moment and they are in the lofty thing, they will skitter into the tube. Eventually, mine backed up and I was able to grab her. I"m not saying buy this cage, and I'm not saying don't. You decide. Personally, I dont use mine anymore. But if I didn't mind the whole wire thing I would totally go for it. Now what are you going to do ? Sorry if I confused you."

"This is a really great cage, but it is hard to assemble. I got my dwarf hamster and the cage together so my hamster had to wait in the box while I put the cage together. I suggest that you first get the cage, bedding, food and anything else you need, BEFORE you purchase your hamster."

"I got this cage for my little dwarf hamster, Ginny. She seemed to like for a couple of months or so. Then she started to chew on the bars and escaped twice. She has managed to go to the petting place and opened it some how.
The wheel also rumbles the whole cage and squeaks. I eventually got a new wheel and it is MUCH better. There is little space and hamsters need lots of space to roam in."

"My hamster loved this cage for a few weeks then it got bored with the cage and started chewing on the bars of the cage. the cage started falling apart! He learned how to pop open the door and excape from both of the levels. We had to tape, wire, clip, and glue everything so my poor hamster couldn't get out and he wasn't happy and we weren't happy. He still chewed his bars even after we locked everything up! We tried treats to make him stop and chew bars and salt licks. Nothing worked. We finally had to get him a new cage. He then stopped chewing his bars!"

"We bought this cage for a standard sized hamster and she has managed to get out twice. Once by pushing the upper wire cage part away from the lower plastic drawer part and once by pushing on the side tube going from the cage to the hideout. The upper plastic part has also cracked."

"I bought this for my first hamster, and he loved it, but I on the other hand was not so impressed. Because my friend dropped the cage on the floor one time (it was when we were cleaning the cage and the hamster was not in there, also we dropped on tile floor) and the hinge broke. But my hamster still could not get out. It is easy to put together, and the wheel will somethime get loud, but if you put oil on it, it will not be as loud. I am reccemending it for dwarf hamsters, maybe other hamsters too, but mine was a dwarf and he loved it. (Oh yeah and cleaning it is pretty easy too!)"

"I would never recommend this to anyone. It's hard to put together, which means every time you would have to clean it (once a weak) you would have to go through all that trouble. It is also very flimsy and shakes if you place one finger on it. Do yourself a favor and don't get this horrible, horrible product. I suggest a bigger cage or fish aquarium, then add a hideout, food bowl, water bottle, wheel, and bedding. I got all of that stuff and it actually cost less."

"I had a dwarf hamster awhile back and got him this cage it was fine when he was smaller but when he got bigger he would go cage crazy and run in circles around the food dishes I recomend it as a travel cage FOR SURE its easily cleaned and lasts for along time (if handled gently) and I would buy it again for use of travel hope this helped!"

"My hamster kept nagging on the bars and I read that it can cause brain damage :( but I went to Petco and got some Apple Bitter and it helps, but other that this is a good cage, it’s colorful and light weight, Hammy adores his loft!"

"This cage is definitely a good buy if you are looking to save money. I like that it is lightweight so it can be easily moved for cleaning. The colors are very pleasant to look at and would brighten up any dull room. I admire that this cage has rounded edges and that their are no sharp parts, so that your hamster has no chance of getting cut. This cage is perfect for dwarf hamsters. I would not recommend it for Black Bear hamsters where they would have even the slightest chance of getting stuck in the funnel tube. The latches should be made stronger because a lot of de-latching and re-latching can cause them to break. Other than that this is a good by for a good price."
