freeze dried mealworms
Date: August 24, 2009
"My four turtles love mealworms. They eat these just like the real thing! And they're so easy to use, no digging through old oatmeal! I usually feed them in a separate dish to keep the aquarium cleaner longer. When I'm running late, I'll put a few freeze dried mealworms directly in the aquarium, not as messy as pellets."

Excellent if you do not want the live stuff!
Date: March 7, 2009
"I have 3 sugar gliders and they just love these. I do not have the space or time to deal with the live mealworms. My Suggies love them. Also Petco's price is the best I have seen usaully I pay $13.00 for the exact same product."

Not for Leopard Geckos!
Date: February 6, 2009
"The title says it all. If you raise leopard geckos, avoid these--go for the Can 'o Worms."

"My lizard is a picky eater, eating mostly only live food. These freeze dried mealworms are the only other thing he would eat."

Beardie LOVES them!
Date: January 4, 2008
"I was so psyched when I found these a while back! 5.5 month old Bearded Dragon eats these up like no tomorrow! They are very good to have on hand in case of a "cricket crisis!" At least he has some sort of bug to eat if the crickets die (won't TOUCH the freeze dried crickets AT ALL) or if the store is out/closed! They saved me a couple times during the long holiday weekends!"

Good for Hedgehogs, anyhow...
Date: March 15, 2007
"My hedgie LOVES these (and freeze-dried crickets). The vet told me to use these sparingly, since they can have a lot of fat, but she is in great shape and very active, so they seem to be okay. I would recommend to any hedgie owner."

not so good (for snakes)
Date: March 4, 2007
"i would not recammend this for snakes . it appears when feed this to a snake it shows no interest so the worms just stay there. Maybe this product would be better for small lizards."

This Stuff Sucks!!
Date: September 27, 2006
"I bought this, not wanting to handle live bugs, and my frog will not eat it. I read the reviews and thought they sounded like what I was looking for, but my frog won't get near them. They are a waste of money."
