My betta is more active and more fun to watch.
Date: June 7, 2008
"I bought #48305, the largest one. I love that it is made in the USA. It was tagged 2 gallons when I got it. Thought I bought too large of one, but my betta is swimming for joy. I used 1 1/2 gallons water (betta was in 1/2 gallon pitcher before this new home). I placed a small USA made clay pot in the bottom on its side (after conditioning it in water for a few days). It looks nice with the stones around it and the betta goes in and out. He is so much easier to see-I appreciated his beauty before, now I am able to appreciate it even more. I am planning on getting another betta next week (bought an extra bowl) so I will have double the fun!"

Fine Purchase for Apartment
Date: February 5, 2008
"When looking for a dependable size for a limited area, The Classic Drum Fish Bowls will say you Love Fish!
Created with a plastic plant, some natural gravel, and a beautiful fish or two you have a lovely scene indoors!
This gave me a living wealth of happiness enjoying my great friend I call Fishtail. Fishtail would inspire me to write poetry with his swimming and touching closeness coming to the surface to touch my finger.
Good choice for a starter or well-caring animal lover.

Good bowl
Date: December 26, 2006
"I got this bowl for my goldfish when we was first starting out (he was small then) and it was perfect! You can see everything crisp and clear and it was great. This is NOT a good bowl for a betta fish unless you live in a tropical environment or a warm enough environment where the temp is 78-82 all year round because glass absorbs and keeps the cold in it too easily. I put a betta in and the water was constantly almost freezing because the glass was making it so. If you have a small 2-gallon heater to put in it, that'd be good... but other than that, glass is NOT a suitable bowl for a betta even if it makes things more pretty."

Love These Things.
Date: June 9, 2006
"Again, I love drum bowls. They have that classic fishbowl look, but without the distortion of the fish that completely round bowls give. Good thick glass, and just so pretty. I keep all of my bettas in them."

Anchor Hocking Drum Style Fish Bowl
Date: May 5, 2006
"I (and my friend) are very excited about this fish bowl. We both have several beautiful betta fish with their long, lovely and colorful fins. The fish look so much better in glass bowls, with colorful marbles and plastic plants, than they do in plastic but the trouble before was that the imported glass ones broke so easily with just a tiny bump. This glass bowl is made of heavy US-made glass and will better withstand the weekly water changes and look clear and beautiful."
