"A fun chase and retrieve toy, but given a few minutes left to chew and my Rott/Lab/Shepard mix had a few chucks out of it. Fun to chase since it bounces funny and as a soft toy there's little chance it will damage anything"

"I went through the medium sized version of this product with two dogs. My German Shepherd wouldn't go near it. She didn't like the way it bounced, she didn't like the way it rolled, and she certainly didn't like the feel of it in her mouth. She refused to ever pick it up. My Hound Mix rolled it around and managed to pick it up a few times, but always dropped it immediately. No matter what we tried, the toy was simply not stimulating enough for either of our dogs.
We still have the toy, and it's held up well. But I feel it's unfair to say as such given two of my dogs wouldn't touch it. Though, my friend has a Pomeranian who adores the tiny version. I suppose it's just a personal inclination for the dog."

"I stuck a tennis ball inside the large hol-ee roller & it has provided hours of entertainment! The tennis ball makes it bounce & roll differently, my APBT loves it & it drives her nuts that she can't get the ball out. I don't know about durability- we have only had it for about 2 weeks but so far so good!"

"I bought this toy for my chewer and thought to my self only because its on sale he'll ruin it in about an hour. I gave it to him and its awesome! we can play tug a war and it holds up. It bounces and he loves it."

"I have an 8lb. dog that loves this ball as much as I do ... it is so well designed and seldom rolls underneath things. I'd go crazy with all the balls prior to this one because I was always crawling around on the floor trying to rescue balls under furniture ... this one is easy to carry, she can chew on it, it has a nice bounce and if it hits her, it doesn't hurt! She'd chew the fuzz off tennis balls in a few hours. For an extra fun time, I put a treat inside!"

"My dog Cotton did not like this toy. He usually loves toys and he did need a new ball so I bought it for him. He played with it for five minutes and basically never touched it again. He wouldn't even chase it when I threw it down the hallway. He almost always is crazy about new toys so I was really shocked. Cotton acted like he didn't like the taste of it. I returned it and got my money back."

"My dog had a problem where he likes to bark nonstop when I leave home. Many people would say to get a kong or some type of toy like that to distract him. unfortunately, he will only play with stuffed toys and doesn't seem to understanfd the concept of a kong-like toy. I bought him the small holee roller and just bought smelly treats and popped those in there, this way he can see the treats, smell them, and work to get them out. He is, as I type, cruising the ball all over the house. Thank you Holee Roller WOO!"

"My westiepooh normally destroys toys within minutes and he's had this toy for almost 6 months now. (still in perfect condition)
Toy is light and easy to play catch with in the apartment/house... not going to break anything or make really loud noises when playing with this."

"My puppy loves this toy. He is a strong chewer and kills all of his "tough" toys, but this one has lasted. We put a small tennis ball that he had killed the squeaker on inside of it. He chases the thing around endlessly. Would highly recommend to anyone, but especially for strong chewers."

"I have 6 rescued dogs, i.e. 2 MinPin's, 1 Chihuahua, 1 Bischon, 1 German Pinscher and 1 hugs Doberman Pinscher. I am SO JEALOUS of these reviews, because not one of my dogs plays with this toy??? I guess I need to get back to using this toy and see if I can get them interested. All of my dogs are chewers and destroyers. It is very frustrating for me to try to find a toy they will play with yet not destroy in minutes."

"I can't say enough about how fantastic this toy is. We have a 7 month old German Shepherd/Sheltie and his teeth are so sharp and powerful, they tear apart all his other "indestructible" toys in minutes. Even his Galileo Nylabone only lasted a couple hours.
He can't get enough of this toy--he can chase it, catch it, bounce it, play tug-of-war with it, and try his hardest to rip it into tiny little pieces (which he effectively does with ALL his other toys), but it hasn't broken yet. It's fantastic."

"My dog is a Blue Heeler / Destroyer of Toys, but this ball has lasted for ages! It always keeps its shape so it can be tossed, rolled, stretched for tug of war, stood on in order to get it out of the dog's mouth, etc. I have also bought a small one for my sister's Jack Russell and a large one for my brother's Bull Mastiff. Now they live in Australia so that is how much I think of this toy!"

"I have 1 Black Lab/ Border Collie- who LOVES to chew the heck out of things... and then eat it of course.. and her partner in crime is another Black Lab- they had the BEST time tugging, pulling and throwing this around. It lasted a good 2 weeks until a friend let them out for me and put it in the crate... I don't know how long it took him to destroy it.. but I am still picking up red pieces! I will be getting another one-- well TWO for sure! Just have to remember it is NOT a crate toy ;)"

"My 5 month old English Mastiff is very picky when it comes to toys. She would prefer an empty drink bottle or towel over a $20 toy. I purchased the largest Hol-EE Roller Toy and gave it a shot. BINGO! She loves it! It's super easy to throw and fetch. The problem now is getting it away from my 2 kids so she can play with it!

"My Rottie and Shepherd play hard and tough. Within minutes every toy is left in shreds. The way they trash each toy in a minute,I never thought I would buy a TOY for $15, but one day I said, let's give this one a try, and I am glad I did !
My very strong and aggressive dogs had a ball with this ball ! It is large enough for my 2, hundred pound dogs, to get a good grip and tug of war all over my acreage ! It is also easy for this old mom to throw with it's lacy design. They had plenty of space in between their mouths to keep it safe and they LOVE LOVE LOVE IT !!
Great ball and even greater ball for my tough guys. I am off to buy another one soon as I get a chance.

"My larger than normal Australian Shepherd (68 lbs) and his favorite friend Jack Russell (12 lbs) can play with this 8" ball as equals, both can hold and run with it so the game is fair. Since the ball is made of flexible rubber with holes it doesn't damage walls or furniture during a game of toss or fetch. Tucker loves to pick it up and shake like a rag doll. He's a powerful chewer but it shows no signs of wear. When I brought it home from Petco, he spotted it in the floor of the car, grabbed it and the game was on! Good thing I wasn't saving it for anything, but he knew it was his!"

my bulldog has been chewing on this for months now and plays with it at least 6 times a day and has not ripped it at all!!!!!! your dog no matter what bread you have they would love it ! BUT i would not reccomend it for toy dog breads they do not have one small enough yet :("

"I purchased this toy for my Chesapeake Bay Retriever, a large 8 month old puppy who loves to chew. I didn't think it would last long, but gave it a shot and am amazed at how well it has held up. I think the key is in how he plays with the toy - rather than trying to rip it to shreds, he enjoys kicking it, standing on it, and playing tug with it. He will hold his favorite chew toy in his mouth and chase this ball around the house. This toy has even held up to his gnawing. It's so nice to have found a durable toy that is not just a chew toy!"
