"Multipet has always been my favorite toy brand for quality, price, and fun. This toy definitely lives up to my expectations.
I bought this monkey for my dog as a christmas present (though, I admit I let her play with it a few times before christmas!) and it survived for probably about 4 months (with this being a stuffed toy it's a pretty big feat) She loved how it squealed and I'm sure it was her favorite toy for this reason.
There are two things though about this toy:

There are two things though about this toy:
1. Although it says monkey and has a picture of a monkey, I'm pretty sure it's meant to be a gorilla for at all the petcos I've been to have had thsi line of talking toys and all of them carried a gorilla but no monkey (not that this is a problem, it just made it hard to find because I had originally seen the monkey online)
2. It squeals! Sure, the dog loves it but the rest of my family would rather not listen to a screeching monkey especially at night/in the morning so I have to make sure I keep it away from her until everyones awake"

"My "grand dog," Clyde, loves this toy. The local petco store was sold out so I purchased a few more from petco online. This version (koala bear) sounds like little kids laughing when he squeezes it. It is so funny to hear the laughing running through the house. He hasn't torn it up either and he's had one for about 6 months. Clyde is a big boy, about 70 pounds, and very strong. He's torn up lots of other squeek toys, but not this one. His "laughy bear" is one of his favorites. I have several so that I can throw them in the washer or replace them when one goes missing for a while - under the bed, under the couch, behind the tv, you know the hiding places. :)

"My pomeranian dog loves the Koala Bear. I bought the monkey too, but since he was given the Koala Bear first he tends to favor it. He has learned how to activate the voice box and likes to bring it to me and play tug of war with it. He has only had it for a couple of weeks and so far it has held up. He has destroyed his other squeaker toys."

"My miniature schnauser has MANY talking toys...this one talks (squeals, hoots, etc.) longer than any others when squeezed. It sounds very realistic....like a monkey at the zoo. My Lucy gets all excited when playing with this toy. It's smaller than what I expected (about 5"), and looks more like a gorilla than a monkey. But, for her it's just right! I plan on getting the other animals made by this manufacturer as well. Very satisfying product."

"My Golden mix loves this toy above the other 50 toys my dogs have. She prefers it over the squeaky toys. It actually can be washed and dried quite a few times and continues to work. It finally gave up after a year so Santa will be bringing another one. I am actually tempted to do a little surgery on the old one to see if the battery can be replaced. I had as much fun watching Missy with this toy as she had playing with it."

"Some useful information that should've been on this items info page is that it is about 5" tall (i wanted something larger) and it is electronic. I don't know about everybody else, but when I want a toy that makes noise, it should be a toy with an air sqeeker in it, not an electronic noise box that will eventually run out of batteries, and that makes the same noise everytime the button is pushed."

"This is easily my little dog's favorite toy (and he has A LOT of toys). The giggling sound it makes is sooooo cute. I'm purchasing a second one because he played with it so much he broke the voicebox. Aside from that, it held up well and the stitches and stuffing are all intact. He's never been so upset over a broken toy as he was with this one, and I've never bought the same toy twice until now. If you're looking for a durable toy that lasts longer than 6 months, this is not the toy for you. It is probably better-suited for smaller dogs, since the voicebox is pretty fragile."

"I was very disappointed with this purchase. Online, this toy looks so cute and appealing. When I opened the box, I thought I had the wrong toy. It looks nothing like the picture online. It is a different, ugly color, has a completely different and creepy looking face and it is a gross feeling material. The feet and paws on it are completely different too and they are cheap looking. Also when I got the toy there was already a medium sized hole in the head of it that I had to sew up so my dog could at least play with the toy. Luckily my dog will play happily with any toy I give him but this toy was definitely not worth the money. I hope my other purchase from Petco.com doesn't end up being such a huge disappointment!"

"This quirky little duck "quacks" when squeezed. My dog, Teddy, a 1 year old Chow Chow, absolutely LOVES this silly duck. You can hear throughout the house "Quack quack quack quack" until he finally destroys the mechanism inside....then we have to go get another! He carries it around with him and always would rather play fetch with his ducky then with a ball. I just wish it was a bit more durable - after a while of "love" it starts to come apart....poor ducky ends up headless after a couple weeks."

"My dog gets so excited over these talking toys, and it's nice to have a break from the high-pitched squeakers once in a while. I have bought all the different talking animals over the years. A couple stopped working, but most of them were eventually thrown out because my dog demolished them. I'd say they last about 6 months."
