"I have used this retractable leash for the past 3 years. I have 2 cocker spaniels and I thinks this leash works great and it"s very convenient to have the plastic bags attached to it. However, I think is good common sense to inspect the mechanism to make sure is working properly (specially if you take your dog to the beach; sand can make it stuck), and that your dog did not chew thru it."

Good idea for older dogs.......

"I thought this was a great idea at first and it was for month we had it. The ease of having the bags right on the leash itself made it handy. Unfortunately we have a 4 month old pug who likes to carry her lease when she is walking with us. Next thing we knew she was running down the road. She had chewed through the leash within a single month. I guess if you have older dogs who dont chew and eat everything then its defiantly worth every penny. However until my Miss Libby gets either older or stops wanting to walk herself and eating everything in sight..... I'll stick with the thick standard leash."

I wouldn't buy again...

"mainly because after only a few weeks it started sticking and would not retract. This is the second brand I have tried(I lost my first one, but it was still working great after multiple months) and it was a waste. The reason I bought it becuase of the p**p bag holder. This is the only thing it has going for it. Buy another brand and p**p bag holder seperate and ziptie it to the handle. You will be much happier."

"I bought two of these for dogs weighing 10# and 20#. Both broke the leash within two weeks. If I had my receipt I would return them to the store.
I'll not buy "Tame Products" again."

"this lease is great and I never forget to bring a bag for the dog. I had the bags on board that you attach to a leash, but it constantly hit against it and was noisey. This one is great!

"This is the perfect invention. Retractable Leash with built in bags. Works great, but sometimes the leash does not lock, but maybe I'm not doing it right. Has a 1 year warranty, so not worried!
Highly recommend!"

Best Leash Ever

"Since we recently got a new dog, my family and I were not sure what leash we needed. When we seen the retractable leash with the bulit in bags we decided to give it a try since it cost almost as much as a regular lead. Everthing is just easy and simple to use and since my four year old is the one who likes to walk the dog he loves his leash. Its the best money we have spent so far. All the staff at petco were extremely friendly and helpful so it makes the purchase even that much better."

"Hi , i was on vacation in NY in october this year and i buy this bags on board leash for my big bernese mountain dog (42,5kg)
This is really great . I love it !
And the bag dispenser is very helpfull when i go out with him in the city in The Netherlands.
I saw this item on the intenet site from petco , and buy it in Manhattan at uinion square park for US$ 19,95.
Next year i come back for my vacation to NY and i will come back for 100% to this great store !
