"The Essential Guinea Pig is a very informative book that taught me a lot about guinea pigs, but there are just a couple things I don't agree with, like how she says you can't enjoy your guinea pig unless it's inside. My friend has her pets outside and she has a great time with them. Other than that, I would get this book even if you're doing additional research, this still helps."

"The book was okay. They gave you a lot of phone numbers and webites to use for info however, none of them are valid anymore. That was very upsetting. The info is really basic, so basic you could probably learn more looking around online without any guidance and gather just as much info. I wouldn't advise someone to pay $7 for this book."

"This book is the best! It helped me through some ruff patches with my guinea pig(health issues). It covers all the subjects on guinea pig care plus more. I would recommend this to beginner-advanced guinea pig owners."
