I just purchased this store-n-feeder and loved the fact that it was adjustable for my puppy's height (border collie). I just wish the edges were a tad sturdier because it was a bit flimsy when putting it back together after I opened it to get the dog food out. Do not totally fill the container up to the top with food because it definitely spills over the edge when getting food out. Kids taught me that lesson. I spend more time cleaning up after them when they help then the dog. :o)

this item is a fairly good product. it will keep water dispensing and also is a good storage for food. i was not able to keep this product because it was too big for my dog. it was disappointing to find out there was no junior size.

I'll start with the positive: The height is perfect for my lab. Cons: If you always have water down for your pet, you make a big mess lifting the top off to get to the storage area. We don't use it for storage because of this. We are also using it without the stainless steel bowls. My lab is a messy eater/drinker and water and food fall under the stainless bowls and into the plastic wells and create a nasty, soupy mess. I was washing the entire contraption nearly daily (no easy feat since it's large and doesn't fit in the sink). I would not buy this again.

I like the product but can't figure out how its adjustable for height. It always drops down and won't adjust for my large dog. He has to feed from the bowl as if it were on the floor.

Been using this for two years and it works perfectly. Our lab/pit mix loves eating from it and she has never once tried to get into it to get at the food stored in the bottom. As far as other reports about pets getting into it goes, if your pet is trained not to get into things, (like mine is), its perfect. The stainless steel bowls may be a little thin, but there is no reason for them to become bent or damaged if they are inside the feeder when in use, and they are a pretty standard dog dish size, shape and thickness. I found the unit to be durable, easy to clean, and great for small homes or apartments, since it doubles as food storage. It says it will hold up to 20 pounds of food. I found that it usually holds between 15 and 18 pounds nicely, but it depends on the brand of kibble. Smaller kibble, it will hold more. larger kibble, it holds less.

My 4 month old lab mix loves eating from this feeder! I haven't used the waterer because I just use the water bowl instead. The plastic could be better quality and it could be a little easier to put on/take off when using the storage part, but for the price, it works just fine. I do recommend for medium to large dogs.

I use this feeder for my cat. It is very big, but
it almost solved my problem with the mess
my cat always living during eating with his food being allover the floor. No other feeder ever worked.
Most of them he use to knock down.
It also good for storage of small cans or dried food in a small packages.
The materials it is made of could be a little better
quality.

Metal bowls are very thin, easily flexed/dented. Plastic is cheap; bows outward when storage base is filled with dog food. Bowls fit loosely in the wells - very noisy when dogs are eating. Puppy is already learning how to lift off the top to get to the food. This is going back to the store!

This feeder is an excellent height AND storage!! My husky loves eating from it! I love the fact that she no longer has to hover over a small bowl on the floor.

Does its job elevating the bowls...however its more hassle than its worth storing the food inside and if you use the water bottle feature you can't use the stainless bowl at the same time. The water just pours into the plastic part the bowl sits in, which can be annoying for cleaning. Overall, ok if you need adjustable bowls, the taller height was perfect for our lab.

We have 2 Shelties and an 11 week old Golden Retriever. These bowls are teriffic. At the lower height, they are perfect for the Shelties and the puppy and will be perfect for the puppy when she is older and we turn it for larger dogs. Very easy to clean in the dishwasher and good size bowls.

great height for my 10 yr old golden and i like the fact that the bowls are removable to wash. i wish there was some type of locking system for the top onto the bottom, because the puppy wants to get at the stored food and pushes the top up.

The store-N-Feed Adjustable Feeder is exactly what I was looking for at a great price! I love that you can store food in the bottom of it and the adjustable height is perfect for my 9 month old chocolate Lab. It is true that you can spill the water when you are getting the food from storage, but I don't fill up the water very high..so it hasn't been an issue for me. I have not tried the automatic waterer with the 2 liter bottle yet, but i really like this feeder and would highly recommend it for large breed dogs!

i bought this bowl set for my little puppy cocker spaniel. when i bought it 2 weeks ago he could barely reach the bowls. now he does not have any problem with it, but for now i'm only using the top part, the bottom part is waiting for him to be a little taller:-)

I think this is a very useful item. I would only use on medium to large dogs. If you store food in it and need to get food out then you need to take the bowl of water outevery time you open it because sometimes it gets stuck when you lift the top off. It doesn't go gently back on either, so if you don't want water all over the floor take the dish out each time you open it. Other than that I love this item.

I agree with the other reviewer about the watering feature. If your dog dribbles any food into her water, the watering side needs to be washed out periodically, which requires you to remove the food bowl and then lift the whole top section out. Using the 2 liter bottle sounds cool, but the water level has to stay high in order for it to work. I have never filled it that high because the dog would slop the water onto the floor. I gave up on the watering feature and now just use the 2nd metal bowl.
I ordered it because I liked the ability to store the food in the feeder itself. I didn't quite realize you had to lift the bowl section out to get the food, which is a little bit of a hassle. Still, it's much better than the big bag of food taking up room elsewhere in the kitchen.
Finally, it's worth pointing out that because the top section rests on the kibble, the height changes depending on how much food is being stored. It doesn't matter for my dog, but if you are considering this because your dog has shoulder problems, etc., then this fact might make a difference in your purchase.
