"By far the best bird feeder for attracting a variety of small birds. Using the correct feed is important, but the feeder has attracted a larger variety of birds. We have starlings, finches, titmice, doves, sparrows, wild canaries, chickadees, bluejays and others. Some feed together and others wait their turn. The multi-ports provide ready access, although, most of the birds prefer the bottom feeder so they can access the ports and the overflow.
Improvement needed in a clear opening of the aperture to each level. This would enable filling the bottom level independently. Also, a funnel of some nature, should be made to insert in the aperture for the bottom level. Cleaning is difficult. The screw coverings come off easily and the birds don't seem to mind the bare screws. Very good!"

"Great but a little on the expencive side... i enjoy seeing what type of birds come to eat the bird seed i put on the inside, i know i'v seen some cardnals and many other beautifull birdies!"

Birds Love It!

"The birds really seem to love this feeder. All types of birds seem to be attracted to it and often almost all of the ports are filled up. It actually gets pretty noisy once in a while, so it seems like the birds are really enjoying themselves."

If only this feeder were squirrel-proof!

"I was totally thrilled and satisfied with this feeder until the squirrels tore all of the openings out, and it would no longer hold feed. It's a shame, too, because I loved the looks, it was easy to fill, it hung well, and 6+ birds could fit on it all at the same time. One day I looked out and counted six birds, different kinds.....a cardinal, a couple of finches, and the rest all small birds that I can't identify....maybe chickadee's. When the woodpecker arrived, they all scattered and returned when he was gone.
One good aspect of this feeder (in my opinion) is that it can't hold the larger birds too well.....the robins and bluejays.
But our enjoyment was short-lived as the squirrels tore it apart little by little so easily after two weeks. They chewed off the little perching pegs, too.
A fantastic feeder that birds seem to love if you have no squirrels around!
I have a metal feeder arriving today although it's not as attractive as this one."

My 3rd one!

"I love this feeder, and am purchasing my 3rd one. I go through 100 lb.s of birdfeed a month, so this is wonderful as I don't have to fill it so often. It attracts many species of birds, and often all 12 feeding ports are filled. But I do have to remember to bring it in every evening, as the raccoons also love it, and have repeatedly broken this feeder if I leave it out overnight.
It's not easy to take apart for cleaning, but I can still manage to give it a good cleaning when it's assembled. I also can use the old parts for replacement."

Most Popular Feeder In My Yard

"This is, hands down, the most popular feeder in my yard. It's a great favorite with the red-winged blackbirds, the cardinals, and the wild parakeets, more so than with either of the the other 2 feeders I have nearby. It's my favorite too, because, no matter how busy the feeder gets, I don't have to refill it for a good 5 or even 6 days! It's very easy and quick to fill, close and hang, and appears to be very sturdy. My only (small) gripe is that the perch covers come off too easily... the birds have already lost 3 of them, and they get lost in the grass and are impossible to find! But, hey... the birds don't seem to mind perching on bare metal screws (which is what the perches are)..."

Best bird feeder in my yard

"I have two of these feeders in my yard. I love them because no matter how low the seeds get all the perches are occupied till it's gone. It gives everyone a chance at the last of the seeds!
For some reason the birds chose these two feeders over the 5 others I have. These are the only ones the cardinals seem to use also. If I didn't have so many feeders I would get more. They withstand weather great, mine are 3 years old and no problem with them at all."
