"This is such a wonderful food. I have a dog with allergies and this food has been fantastic for her. It's super healthy and doesn't contain tons of fillers. It's also a little less expensive than some of the other healthy dog foods. I highly recommend it."

"After reading an in depth article in 'The Whole Dog Journal' about dog foods, I decided to transition my Australian Cattle Dog from IAMS to Natural Balance and what a difference.
Her eyes are brighter and clearer. Her coat is shiny and full. And her energy level is way up.
Also, with this food, I no longer need to give her vitamin or Omega supplements, which is a big savings.
Can't say enough good things about the food. Dick Van Patten is obviously a true animal lover."

"After being told from a rescue group and our trainer, we switched our two dogs to this (from Purina). They both really like it and do well on it. It shows in their coats, teeth, eyes, digestion etc Remember -- Better food, less doodoo! Your dog's life span and health are worth it. Not to mention, many behaviorial issues can be avoided or reduced with a abetter diet. It's worth the extra money. Look for Petco's online and in-store specials and buy several bags at a time (that's what we do). Our dogs also like the canned food -- they get it as a treat sometimes or when we need to hide pills!"

"i got my keeshond from a breeder in massachusetts, she was feeding him IAMS and i had already read up on how to change his food, deciding to feed him natural balance..after i split the iams and natural balance into equal amounts..he wouldn't eat anymore. i called the breeder and she said to just give him natural balance and keeshond puppies love to eat so he'd end up liking it sometime. he turned it down once, but by morning he was eating it right up. practically inhales half a cup to a cup in about five minutes :) his poops are better now!"

"I have two Coton de Tulear's, one of which I rescued. My male, Casey, has had allergies so badly that he would turn his feet pink, from all the licking.
I tried Solid Gold, Nutro Max and several other premium dog foods.
Then! I tried Natural Balance L.I.D. (Limited Ingredient Diet).
It's worked wonders for him and I'll never use anything else!"

"I trust this product and my dogs love it. I always add a slice of one of the food rolls, which they love even more. I have also used the Sweet Potato and Fish & The Potato and Duck Formula's as training treats. Since I feed them the Ultra Premium every day they think they are getting very little biscuits. Of course this saves some real money and they love them."

"When we first adopted out 2 year old Australian Shepherd, he was very thin and had super thin hair with no undercoat. He was shedding really bad. I went on PETCO.com and researched dog food ingredients. We decided on Natural Balance Ultra Premium. We have had our dog for 7 months and he looks like a new dog! He has gained 5 pounds and his coat is thick and so shiney that he sparkles in the sun! We will always buy this food for him! It has even made a small improvement in the mobility of our 13 year old Border Collie. The small price difference is worth the peace of mind that we are doing all we can for our babies!"

"i was feeding my puppy natural balance which i thought would be great because the woman at the petco said it was the BEST and along with the price i thought i couldnt go wrong.Well after awhile i noticed more and more scratching and also much more flaking.I decided to switch to nutro max and cannot be happier the itching and flaking is gone and he is full of energy!"

"I have four dogs of differing weights and breeds. All my dogs love this food and I have seen dramatic results when I feed them the Ultra Premium Puppies to Adult. Their coats fill in and are extremely shiny and their weight stays at a health level. I have tried other brands due to economic problems, but I have to come back to Natural Balance because it's the ONLY healthy food for my animals. I also have three cats whom also have the same results.

For the dog who can't eat anything!

"Our dog Zeus (half Akita and Half Great Dane) has had a food allergy since he was about a year old... We fed him the recomended diet for a growing LARGE Pup about a year and a half. About a year old, I think he started to show signs but we didn't know what they were... Long story shorter, we tried the $120 a bag dog food, the $90 a bag food, Super limited ingredient, Baked, IVD's Rabit, Vennisen, Duck, you name it... Then one day we happened to be in a pinch because I forgot to mail order my $120 worth of dog food for the month and I stopped in a Petco... The guy there said he'd recomend this to ANYONE!! And I can't believe it but it's been about 3 or 4 years now on this stuff and we couldn't be happier! We also in the mean time have adopted another dog, Mini girl Misha 10 lbs. Zeus is about 130... ;)
And we switched our cat to it as well since our dog would often get in to the cat food and make him sick... Our Cat has never looked healthier! She's 16 and Zeus is going to be 10 this November! He runs, jumps and plays like he's a puppy now!
We would recomend this food to anyone! Oh and they Love it!! Never once had a problem eating it... I would also recomend the Food rolls for treats! Perfect for the spoiled dog or just the ones you love... Also works great for any type of pill you may need to give to the pups... just stuff it in to the clump of treat..."

"This is one of the best dog foods that we've found that are easily obtained. I am so happy that PetCo carries this food!
All three of my dogs (8 yr old German Shepherd, 3 yr old Chinese Crested and 2 yr old Chinese Crested) are on this food and they all three love it.
Their coats and skin are in great shape, they are happy, healthy and I think a lot of it has to do with their diet.
We definitely recommend this food to others."

"my very picky eating terrier mix finds this to be the only dry food she will consistantly eat (we use the "small bites" formula). we have tried all the better brands like wellness, solid gold, innova, orijen, etc.. and she likes this best. when switching over to this food, i noticed a boost in energy and her coat looks wonderful. on walks, people have even commented on how good she looks. her coat just seems to glow. i free feed, and she stays at a prefect weight on her own, never gains or loses weight. i also supplement this with a 1/4 can per day of Natural Balance canned food, also the only canned food my dog never seems to tire of. with most others, she loves the first day, tolerates the second day, turns her nose up on the third day. we have been using this food for over 6 months now with great results."

"My 4 month, 4 lb. Yorkie loves this food. Since the rescue group told me they had been feeding her adult food, this "puppy through adult" formula seemed like a perfect fit. As soon as I put down her bowl she devours her meal, and she has enough energy to play chase and fetch all day every day!"
