"I have a 3yr old tabby that I adopted from the shelter over a year and a half ago. Since the day we got her, she has been throwing up on a regular basis. The vet said it was likely hairballs so we put her on a hairball treatment plan, including special food. When one brand didn't help, we switched to another for a while to see if it made a difference and nothing worked! A few months ago we adopted a kitten from a friend who had a litter and since both cats were eating out of the same dish, the older cat started eating the kitten food too, but even that was only a mild improvement.
