Wish I had Prime at the Beginning

"Prime is the best at keeping fish safe while your tank cycles through the nitrogen process. The price is great. It took me some time to figure out that the higher ammonia and nitrite levels were not hurting the fish (as much) so I didn't need to change the water every day. I only needed to change the water once every couple of days and the "break in" to a healthy tank happened quicker. I used Prime every day through the new tank cycle with my second tank and my fish survived!"

"I've been using Prime Water Conditioner for a year now and I love it. It neutralizes chlorine and chloramines and also detoxifies nitrates and nitrites. Since I do 50% water changes every week at least, and since I have around 10 aquariums, I also need a water conditioner that's cost effective, and this one is great. You don't have to use as much conditioner as you do with the other ones. One capful is good for 50 gallons."

"This is the best water conditioner!!! It removes chlorine, chloramine, and ammonia. It detoxifies nitrite, and nitrate. It even provides slime coat. It safe for freshwater & saltwater. You can actually see a difference in the levels after using this product. This is the best conditioner to use if you are cycling a new tank. I've been using it for about a year, and it is great stuff that goes a long way!!!!"

"This stuff does really work. It's great for saltwater tanks. It detoxifies chlorine,chloramine, heavy metals, ammonia and nitrates. It doesn't over activate your protein skimmer like some other brands. A little goes a long way. If you're going to spend money on a dechlorinator, this should be it. And there's no question about usability if you use Purigen, totally compatible."

"I bought this product by chance at Petco a few weeks ago while I was looking for a product to help with my ammonia levels. I saw the red bottle and bought it, really because it caught my eye and at that point I was willing to try anything, and I'm glad I did. I put in the recommended amount (located on the back of the bottle) every 2 weeks when I add/change my water and it keeps everything in the "ideal" state. I test daily so I was able to see the gradual change in the water. I also like the fact that it promotes the fish's slime coat, as my Tiger Barbs had nipped my female Betta's fins slighlty, which are now nearly completely healed. I would recommend this product to anyone."

Excellent for starting a tank!!

"I bought this product through local stores and Petco, it works wonders. I waited a couple of days after starting my new tank and it did its job, It works for all waters, expecially city or country tap water. Just add 1 drop per gallon each day for the first week of starting your tank, with no fish in it, then occasionally or twice a week after that. I love this product."
