Our dog, Libby is a nervous wreck, once a thunderstorm or heavy rainstorm begins. She shakes violently all over, pants heavily, etc. She has chewed and scratched up woodwork when she is this anxious.Our family is very happy to recommend Pet Calm. It works in about ten minutes and Libby remains very calm for about three hours. She even appears to like the taste of it. Pet Calm is much more effective than the anti-anxiety medication that our vet gave us. Plus, as I mentioned it starts working much faster than a pill since it is a liquid. We will always buy Pet Calm from now on. This is available in Petco stores or online.

My dog just had surgery to remove a mass. Our vet gave her meds however she was still in a lot of pain. With her e-collar and the stress of the situation, she needed something to help relax. I tried this product hoping it would help, and it did. Between taking her meds, she would whimper so I started to give her a dose of Richard's Organics, and she would relax immediately. I gave it orally vs in her water to have a faster reaction.
If you decide to try this for post-op, make sure you give your dogs meds first bc it seemed to numb my dog's tongue. Making it harder to take her pills. Also, check with your vet first.

I used this with my huge rescue dog to help calm him for company coming over, and it worked like a charm! He was still active, but not crazy. All my dogs love the taste of it, so that makes it easy to administer. Looking forward to calmer vet visits and successful pedicures with this miracle juice!

I recently adopted a new dog and he was suffering from separation anxiety when I left the house. I bought this on a recommendation of a Petco employee. Unfortunately, it didn't seem to do anything to help my little one. I used it for about a week and then ceased. It seemed palatable though, my dog never had an issue taking it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have an 18 year old cat that lost her lifetime companion a year ago and has been going through the grieving process - her way of grieving is to wander the house at night and meow/howl looking for him. Was about at my wits end when I read about this product and decided to try it since it was natural - with her as old as she is I wanted whatever I used to be safe. I give her a 1/4 dropper by mouth at night before bed - she's a little gal, weighs a little less than 6 lbs. - she's quiet all night long - no side effects - I'm so happy I can sleep through the night now I can't tell you - would recommend...

This calmed my tantruming spaniel right down. It didn't make him sleepy, it just took the edge off and allowed him to settle down. This stuff is a god send. I will definitely use when we have company over, travel, during fireworks, and other times when he tends to get overly worked up.

This product has been an absolute lifesaver. I tried it on a whim, hoping to find something to help my golden retriever with her vet visit anxiety, but I never imagined it would work this well. After several rounds of ear and eye infections, my dog dreads the vet. I would have to carry her through the doors (which at 70 lbs that's not all too easy), and she fought me the whole way. Then she'd shake uncontrollably the whole time we were there. I felt awful for her. I gave her one dose of this stuff about 30 minutes before her last vet check-up, and I could not believe how calm she was. She still stared at the door the whole time, but she didn't resist coming inside or shake or anything. She even wagged her tail when the vet tech came in. I'll be using this for every vet and groomer appointment in our future. I'm so thankful to have found it!

My dog, Benji, LOVES the taste of this product. He seems slightly calmer after taking it, but nothing substantial or miraculous. The product has helped with grooming and with introductions to new people. I will continue to use.

I'd tried a more "brand name" natural product for calming my lab mix, and it worked well. When I ran out, the store didn't have it in stock, but PetCalm was next to the open space. It was much less expensive, and it works wonderfully for the anxious times in both my dogs' lives. It works in just a few minutes when a thunder storm pops up, and it lasts hours when they are going to be left home alone. The dosing guidelines are too much for my dogs. 1ml if enough for my 70 pounder, which makes it more of a price bargain.

With 5 dogs, stress can travel fast. So when thunderstorms threaten or someone needs a bath, this is what we grab. A few squirts down the throat and happy puppies. We have to hide this from one because she will chew the top off and suck it dry.

My Pibble has separation anxiety. We HAVE to crate her when we leave for more than a couple of hours because she tears the house and furniture apart. When we crate her, she chomps at the sides of the crate and will injure herself trying to get out. We've had trainers and knowledgable friends try to help us with this issue all to no avail. I finally bought a thunder shirt which seems to help some but she is still anxious so we tried several calming aids. I find the "Richards Organic Pet Calm" to work best for our dog. She doesn't chomp on the sides of her crate when I'm at work all day and yesterday I left her out while I was gone for 11 hours with no damage to my home.

We have 2 older cats, one very anxious...not a good match for our RV travels (although once we're parked, they both love having us close at hand). While driving through Maine a pet store owner recommended this product to calm our anxious cat, and it works wonders. She is not sedated, just very mellowfor about 7 hours. Although she wasn't wild about having a dropper of liquid squirted into her mouth, she didn't act like I was poisoning her and I hope she will eventually get used to the taste. It also did not come back out at me :)

Stella's a rescue w/ many fears & anxieties, and a dedicated puller at 75+ lbs. This product was VERY helpful from the fist dose! within a few minutes, Stella was more relaxed, we were able to walk during the daylight hours with minimal pulling, AND able to stand a talk to the neighbor for a few minutes before she began acting fearful. That is HUGE for her!. Later she lay calmly in the yard while the neighbors had an outdoor party.
This is a great tool, and we'll be able to build more confidence for her using this.

An awful odor came out of the bottle when opened; it's impossible to describe it. I gave some to my mini dachshund who, at first, seemed to like it. When I tried to use it a second time, he ran away. So, we never got to find out if it actually calms the dog or not. Too bad; it seemed like a good idea when I bought it.

This product worked amazing for my 1 1/2 year old cat who had to have an ultra sound. My cat has high anxiety when going to the vet and was having some serious medical issues that required us to have an ultra sound. She had kidney issues so we really wanted to avoid sedation at all costs. I had purchased this awhile back because we had expected to take her on a cross country drive that never happened. I gave her a drop about 30 minutes before the procedure and she was so relaxed. She meowed and cried a little bit, but typically they have to have bite gloves on when handling her because she is so aggressive at the doctors. She was calm and let them do the ultra sound for about 30 mins. I would recommend this product to ANYONE! The only bad side is the smell and taste...my cat was not a fan.

It is natural and my 2 dogs and the puppies line up to take it. Eye dropper makes it clean and easy. When our female is in season it helps our male relax a little and not get so keyed up. It is also helpful before traveling or visits to the vets.

I have no idea what this stupid website's issue is. I wrote a nice long review and it's telling me I have inappropriate language and I don't.. I reread it three times and I can't find anything that could even be conceived as foul language.
Anyway, this is an amazing product. If you're on the fence, I swear it's a miracle worker. At least it was for my dog (separation anxiety). I tell everyone I know about this product!

I have a brindle mutt, about 40 lbs and a pug/corgie mix puppy. I moved from Sounthern Az, to Northern IL in a van. I gave the mutt 4 droppers full and the puppy 1 took them potty and then put then in there kennels for 6-8 hrs and they rode very well, I have 2 cats also, one very calm didnt need to use on her, my siamses however howls the whole time shes in a carrier, i gave her 1 dropper every 6-8 hrs and it kept her calm during the trip would only occasionally meow durning the Trip I contunues the treatmant with the mutt often, If i have to transport her anywhere I give her 2-4 droppers and she is fine and then at night when the neighbors have outdoor parties late into the night Ill give her 2 droppers and she is GREAT!! I had never used anything like this before and works wonderful.
