"I have used Tideline substrates for almost ten years. I have never had a toxicity issue or any problems with the product. You will need to thoroughly wash before use but other than that you should be pleased with Tideline products. Good luck!"

"This Mix is a great color and goes with everything. However, i had to sift the sand out becuase there are alot of broken rocks in the bag. It may have been the specific bag i had recieved but double check yours before you buy it unless you want acess dust."

"More attractive than many other brands, including more expensive ones. Size of pieces is fairly consistent, not as prone to compaction. Best of all the product is very clean, not dusty, only minimal rinsing needed. I have bought this product 3 different times, consistent quality."

"This coral is an excellent substrate for cichlid tanks! as it is light weight and can easily be stirred around by the cichlids. For those of you raising live foods such as Microfex worms, daphnia et. These live foods will multiply like crazy in this stuff! so is the #1 subtrated for them. This stuff also provide excellent calcium for snails of all kinds(especially apple snails). An investment in a 10lb of this coral will give you a lifetime of satisfaction when it comes to your aquatic pets!"
