"Bought this for my 3 month old Golden - within 45 minutes the squeaker was GONE (we know where that went!) and he had a hole in it. Laytex toys should last a bit longer than this - I'm thinking it may have been old. :("

It really doesn't tear!

"I bought the soccer ball latex toy for our 13-week Shepherd puppy who is a very strong biter and chewer right now. I didn't believe when I read the packaging that he wouldn't tear the plastic but I was so surprised that it really is a tough ball! He chews it, fetches it, and even sometimes plays tug-o-war with it and the latex only gets a little scratched but no holes at all. He's only had this ball for a little over a week but there are other toys that he's had less time that he's destroyed, so I think this is a good indication that the product will withstand the puppy stages! Oh, and he loves the squeaker!"

JR terrier loves spiney tug and toss toy

"Our terrier loves playing fetch and tug with the Toy Buddies spiney tug and toss latex toy. The squeaker has lots of different sounds and even keeps squeaking while it's in the air. She loves the feel and hangs on tight while we spin her around off the ground. Then we throw it as far as we can and she races after it giving it a vigorous shaking before returning to us for another round. When we've had enough we have to put toy our of sight into a special place and tell her "no more".....until the next day of course.
She gets a lot of exercise but playing with this toy seems to satisfy her other hunting urges like nothing else.
The squeaker wears out pretty quickly but she still loves it. Actually, losing the squeaker is a blessing for us, esp during the winter when we play this indoors."

"My Jack Russell mix goes absolutely nuts over these toys. They are the most durable latex squeak toys I've found for him. The softness of it means it gives when he chews on it. Thicker, stiffer toys he tends to puncture immediately with his sharp little teeth."

Spiny Spiky Latex Yellow Dumbbell

"We originally got this toy two years ago, and it was purple then. It has been her favorite toy ever since, and believe me, my dog gets a ton of toys! She can't rest until she finds that toy and 95% of the time it is in her mouth. The best part is that she is a barker/yapper, and when it is in her mouth all you hear is a little grumble and a few little squeaks! Just don't put it in the dishwasher, soak it in the sink. About a week ago we ruined it in the dishwasher and replaced it with this yellow one - and she loves it just as much!"

""Squeaky Egg", as we call it, is one of my yellow lab puppy's favorite toys. She loves to chew on it to make it squeak and the chicken's head pop up. Although fine for light to average chewers , this is probably not a great toy for very intense chewers as a friend's dog who chews very roughly punctured the toy within 5 minutes so it would not squeak or pop up any more."

"We have 3 large dogs, and they all love to chase and chew on the spinner balls. These are their favorite toys, and the squeakers hold up very well. I only gave 4 paws on quality as I wish that they were as thick as the tug and toss. Other than that they are perfect!"
