I wasn't sure that this product would work or not. So, I tried it and found out that both my beagles LOVE the addition to their morning meal. I also found out that their coats became even softer! This product doesn't eliminate all hair loss, but it sure does minimize the amount of hair that both dogs loose! Before I would vacume/dust once a week and now (sometimes) I can get away without vacuming/dusting every two and a half weeks!
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is the most amazing product. I am not usually an over-the-top consumer but this product is worth it's weight in gold. If you are tired of excessive hair on your furniture, clothing, and floors - buy this product.
The benefits are two-fold - the vacuum cleaner won't clog up each time you get it out and your animal will have the most beautiful, shiny coat.
Supplementing his meal is a part of our every-day routine from this point on!

When I bathe my hound-mix I usually pull about a softball sized amount of hair off her in the bathtub every other week. After being on Shed-X for about a week, I only pulled a golf ball sized amount of hair off her. I use the Furminator in the bathtub because I can't stand fur flying everywhere - it doesn't do that when the hair is wet. The Furminator helps me get as much hair as possible off the dog along with soaping twice and conditioning twice. I really do think this stuff is great - already purchased 4 bottles of it - I don't want to run out with 80 degree temps right around the corner.

Tried Shed-X on my American Eskimo and it hasn't worked yet. Been 2 weeks. She sheds endlessly and I have to vacuum 1-2x a day. I haven't seen any change for the better with the Shed-x. When I got her 2 months ago from the shelter she was soft and fluffy and had been fed junky dry food. Now on home made food, vitamins, bottled water and shed-x she is coarse, sheds constantly and itches all the time. Go figure. I also don't like the cap... the Shed-x gets all over everything when I pour it. Positive note: She likes the taste.

My Golden Retriever has been on this for about a month now and I haven't seen any difference in hair loss. Her coat does look healthier though.

My husband and I didn't realize how bad shedding could be till we rescued a third dog recently. She was such a bad shedder you would be covered in white hair just from giving her a quick pat. I didn't really expect the product to do much if anything, but I was so desperate for a solution I gave it a try. After just a week her shedding had been cut down dramatically, well over half. She has been on the Shed-X for several months now and while she still sheds slightly it’s so much more bearable than before.
I've recommended this to several people, all of who’ve tried it are also surprised and defiantly pleased with the results.

I've tried every product in the book and this unfortuatly ties in with the rest. I am willing to try anything to get my WHITE chihuahua to stop or a least minimize the shedding. It's gross having dog hair in just about everything I own. She's short hair and weights 4 lbs but sheds like a husky! Any suggestions please help!

I picked up some of this product for our collie, who sheds constantly. After three weeks of use the difference is amazing. She is sheding much less and she readily eats her dry food after I add the Shed Ex, so I guess it does taste good to dogs. I have been using a double dose, since it appears to be all natural ingredients.

I have a Golden retreiver that we keep in the house. We are constantly cleaning up hair from her. I heard about this product and figured it couldn't hurt to give it a try.We have been giving it to Cosmo for about 3 weeks now and she loves it. So far I have noticed a big difference in how much she sheds. It has cut her shedding down to very little at all. I love this stuff and will keep using it!!!!

My Yellow Labrador puppy had minor shedding till he turned 5 months old in late June. The shedding became uncontrollable in early July when I started him on Flaxseed and and a daily Omega 3 supplement which I hid in his food. I even switched him to an oatmeal shampoo and conditioner and daily brushing but the heavy shedding continued. At that point, I wasn't sure if it was his age (just about 6 months) or seasonal (first summer in Miami) so I persevered. I bought Shed-X mid July expecting nothing. I saw results exactly one week after initial dose. The horrible excessive shedding stopped just as abruptly as when it began in late June.
It has been exactly three and a half weeks since we starting using Shed-X and my puppy loves it! He even does a happy dance when he sees the yellow bottle! I pour some over his dry food and he licks his bowl clean! My house is no longer plastered with pet hair! Shed-X is definitely worth every penny!

I have a wire haired Lurcher (irish wolfhound, border collie, airedale mix) and boy does this dog shed constantly. I've had two golden retrievers and this dog makes golden retriever shedding look positively minimal. Tried this for three weeks now - noticed a marked difference within one week after using in combination with a shed reducing shampoo (one shampoo only to date). There is so much less hair around the house it's amazing! The dog likes it in her food, she's had a temperamental digestive tract in the past and there were no issues.

I was happy to finally find a product that I thought, after reading all the reviews, would help minimize my dog's shedding. Unfortunatly I did not see a difference. I used this product as instructed and even bought two bottles of it thinking it needed more time to kick in but didn't see a difference even after the second bottle.

I have a yellow lab who sheds a lot year round because she is a indoor dog. I have tried just about everything, only to be let down by every product I have tried.When I say she sheds I mean every time we pet her we get a hand full of hair. I had to vacume every day. Since I have been using this product she does not shed anymore, this is the best product I have ever used and I usually do not write reviews. I hope they do not ever discontinue this product because this is the only one that has ever worked for my dog and her coat is soft and shiny we always get lots of compliments on her! It does take about 3 weeks to see results but it is so worth it!

I wish I could give this product a great rating. My Beagle hates the taste. She wouldn't go near her food for two days, so I had to stop using it. I even tried using a dropper to get it into her and she fought me every step of the way. Wish I had the great results as described in the other reviews.

Shed-x is the best purchase ever. No need to have your dogs shaved. Shed-x eliminates the shedding and makes their coats shine and eliminates itching. My dogs love the flavor.

When Rocket came to us in January, I took note of his shedding immediately. While educating myself about pugs, I read that they are known for shedding--especially in the summer months. When April came, we were already experiencing summer like temperatures, so I started using this. He loves the taste, and so far Im pleased. His coat is so soft now. I have noticed a decrease in his shedding from when we 1st brought him home. Because of the improvement I have seen, Im glad I dont have to find out how bad Pugs really shed!

I was skeptical at first if this would work. I have to say it is everything it promises and more. My dog's coats are softer, shinier. No longer do you see hair flying when you pet them. My carpet is staying cleaner. I don't have to vacuum everyday like I was just to clean the hair up.The dogs love the taste and it has helped with our finicky eater to eat better. I have ordered extra, just to make sure I don't run out. We aren't having to use the furminator as much either!
