"My pitbull loves her Harley! It's extremely durable even through her rough playing. She carries him everywhere and absolutely loves the squeaker. I highly recommend it for rough chewers. Harley lasts about 9 months and we've been through 3 of them."

"That's all I have to say to my 9 year old Chocolate Lab who thinks he's a puppy and he attacks his Hedgey, slinging it around and throwing it across the room. He's torn into a few, and delighted in ripping the stuffing out (after Mom performed a safety squeakerectomy) and leaving their tattered corpses for another day of play. I love the grunt sound, but it's the first thing to go...
Zaphod LOVES Hedgie, even sleeps with it (see photo), and so do the other dogs for whom I've purchased this great toy. I can even throw it in the wash when it gets crunchy. Five very rambunctious paws!"

"My boy Jake is a 90 lb Lab who lives to chew. This stuffy has managed to stand up to the beatings Jake has given him and is his favorite. Jake will shake the living daylights out of Hedgie and then crash with him on the couch for a nap. I get such a big kick watching him play with this and as I'm writing this, I just saw Jake manage to open a seam..... Oh well, time for a new one!"

My Favorite Toy!

"Hi, my name is Zak. I am a 2-year-old, 113 pound "juvenile delinquent" German Shepherd, who keeps my mom sane, and sometimes drives her insane! I am very picky when it comes to my toys. My mom took me to a Petco store, where I saw "Hedgie." I had to have him. I took him off of the display, held him in my mouth, and looked at my mom with my big brown eyes. Yep...he came home with us! He is now my favorite toy...even better than my mom's shoes, which I used to carry around but never chewed.
I highly recommend the extra-large grunting "Hedgie" for all of you big dogs. He's really durable, lots of fun, and has "attitude" just like me!"

"Despite its size, i think any size dog could enjoy this toy. It's entertaining and my dogs would rather play with it the entire day. I have 2 huge dogs, but I also have a shih tzu who is more obsessed with this toy, it's so hilarious i can't believe it. He uses it as a pillow & carries it [even though it's more than half his size] wherever he goes. The grunting, squeaking, rattling--what more can a dog ask for?
Obviously if you know your dog is an aggressive chewer, don't buy this toy unless you know for sure your dog knows how to play with it."

"I have a 5 month old pitbull and he absolutely LOVE this toy. At first I was a little hesitant to purchase, but finally decided to after reading all of the wonderful reviews.
I swear, well I thought that my puppy had the strongest teeth/jaws ever, but he has yet to tear through this toy. My fiance even expressed how amazed he is with this toy because he was completely against me buying any sort of "toy" for the doggie, simply because he's a "pitbull", you know how men can be. ((rolls eyes)) lol.
I recently got another pitbull puppy, much smaller, about 8 weeks old and she loves playing with it as well, they both tug on it at the same time from both ends.
I must add that I also love the size of this product, it's not small and puny and not too big and overbearing either, just perfect.
I would definitely recommend this toy. The sound it makes is so funny and surprisingly not annoying, I can only laugh when I hear it.
If you love your doggy, treat him to this wonderful gift. It does withstand the wear and the tear, just a wonderful product overall. I definitely dont think that i wasted my money at all and I would buy another one, but this one seems as if it is going to last forever!!!!"

"This is a fairly large toy. My westie is still able to enjoy it, and has not been able to destroy it. My springer spaniel has not been able to destroy it. When I pressed it's belly the grunting noise it made got both my dog's attention right away-thank dog I bought 2. They both like to jump on it more then chew on it; however, this toy has been chewed on a lot. They have had this toy for 2 weeks now, and not one rip in the seam yet. This is the best stuffed toy I have come across."
