"If we could just purchase the gallon container that goes with this set I would recommend it BUT with both of these waterers I have purchased the water containers sprang leaks making the whole item USELESS. Why can't you just sell us the water reservoir?????????????????????????????"

"I have two newfoundland puppies and have bought two of these bowls. The puppies broke the plastic water tank on both of the bowls. If the water tanks were made of thicker plastic or stainless steel this would be a great product."

"We currently have the 1-gallon, white Le Bistro waterer for our Beagle puppy. I knew I wanted to buy one for him because I used to have another when I had a Rhodesian Ridgeback. My favorite features of the product are the consistent flow of water into the bowl, the ease of refilling and replacing the bottle, and the simplicity of cleaning the base after removing the ring that holds the bottle in place. I haven't had any issues with mold growing, but I usually empty and clean out the base every few days to prevent that from happening."

"have had these before but the small should say extra small as in for cats or dogs less than 10 lbs. other brands' small size of this type of waterer i think are bigger. but i know it would have worked had it been bigger"

"I bought this along with the matching gravity feeder, and I must say this product works much better than its counterpart.
I havent had any problems with it, it works, my cat isnt scared by the bubbling noise it makes sometimes...he actually gets really interested in it, and its a bit funny.
Product does what its supposed to!"

Horrible - do not purchase!

"I have purchased other waterers in the past and they worked great. This one is horrible!! There is no plug for the opening so putting the tank in the bowl is almost impossible.
Plus, and most importantly, the thing overflows.
Really, really horrible!! If I had kept my receipt, I would return this thing. I will write PetCo. They should not sell this product.
The feeding bowl is almost as bad."

"The bubbling noise the air makes when water is draining has scared my otherwise brave puppy; Jack Daniel Terrier/Border Terrier and he is not only afraid to go to drink from the bowl but removes his food from the next bowl and eats it away from the bowl on the floor."

"My cat Sparky loves water. Odd but true he likes to jump in the bathtub. I like this Petmate waterer. I have tried different bowls for my cat all of which he refused to drink out of. The water would get old and he would be thirsty all the time. Then I went to petco and saw this item and since I had tried everything else why not try this right? Bingo It made my cat happy and so was I seeing him drink out of it and enjoying it sooooo much. I would recommend this to everyone. It is easy to clean and to fill and your cat won't tip it over as easily. It provides your pet with constant fresh water all the time.
I love it!"

Not bad for the price

"This product is not too bad for the money. It enables you to keep your cat hydrated for long periods of time. My main issue with this product is that it doesn't stay clean for the full amount of water it can hold. I usually only fill the bottle half way and by that point there are little bits of dirt and stray hairs in the water (I also think my cats like to dip their paws in it as the water bubbles down). All in all, it is a good product, but it needs to be changed more often than you might think"

"I purchased this product when we were having a friend dog sit for us while we were gone on vacation for a week. It worked GREAT!
The only minor problem is keeping the bowl clean when the bottle is full of water (I purchased the XL model) ... then I discovered later that my toddler was putting his toys in there! Well, no wonder it was dirty!
So, two thumbs up. It gives me great peace of mind to know on a hot day that my dogs will always have some fresh pure water to drink! (I use filtered water in it...our tap water is disgusting)"

"I absolutely love that I don't have to fill this water container up often. It was originally bought for two dogs, but they were terrified of it. It was given to me for my kitten, and she loves it. She often plays with the water and enjoys watching it bubble as it refills the dish portion. It also keeps the water from getting moldy, which gives me peace of mind and makes my job a little easier."

"We bought this for our dog, but our cat uses it too. They both splashed around in it when it was new. But now they are used to it and don't play in it (too much!) It gives me peace of mind to know they have plenty of water -- and it keeps Max out of the toilet!"

"We've been using these for our pets for a while. We have 6 dogs and keeping a full bowl of water used to be close to impossible. Now, this stays full for days and we don't have to worry about the dogs running out of water and looking "elsewhere", if you know what i mean."
