"The only reason why I even tried this product, to be honest, was because it was on sale, and my rabbits needed chew toys. At first, they just left it alone, like all their wooden toys, but when I drilled a hole in it, and place string in it and tied it to the top of their cage, they would run by it, and sometimes chew on it for awhile -- trying to get it down. It's actually a really cute sight."

"My gerbil was crazy about it for a while, but after maybe two weeks he stopped chewing on them and decided that burying the bark bites was more fun.
The Bark Bites were nice while they were in style with my gerbil, but it quickly became a chore to unearth the bites over and over."

"My chinchillas love these for thier bark. They will take them from me as soon as I offer them. Unfortuantly they will just eat the bark and then throw them down but eventually they will chew the rest if I don't give them anything else."

"My current rats wouldn't eat them, but previous rats I've had would...they are very good for trimming the teeth and cause no problems with the rats because they are not poisonous to the rats (unlike some wood, which is)"

My little girl LOVES them. My little guy, being a prima-bunny, took a little longer to adapt to chewing. He's not really a chewing type, so he's not as wild about them in general.
Chloe loves them, and I would continue purchasing them to please her, as well as to keep her teeth nice and healthy by keeping them for her access daily. :)"

"I have two hamsters and have tried giving both of them these chew sticks. I put them in the cage, stuck them in the wire, and given them no other object to chew on and the most I've ever seen either of them do is sniff the wood and walk away. I don't know why they don't like them, they just don't."

"My guinea pigs loves these chewy slabs of wood. One guinea pig created a game we called "tug of wood." My son would hold the bark bite on one end and offer it to our guinea pig. The piggy would chomp down on the other side and try to pull it out of my son's hand. When he succeeded, the guinea pig would toss the wood in the air like a little victory dance. Great fun!"
