Kitty's Favorite Hideaway

"I just adopted a kitten and thought this bed would be a perfect welcome to my newest family addition! I had it ready and waiting in my walk-in closet (my kitten's "safe place"). When I brought my feline friend home and opened her carrier, she looked around a bit, got a drink, then bounced into the bed. No amount of coaxing would tempt her away from her new bed, that night or any other. Once she settles in for the night, she doesn't come out. Bedtime is an exciting adventure and she snuggles right in. I often catch her hanging out in her bed during the day, napping or playing with the hanging toy. She absolutely loves her bed!"

My Cat Loves This Bed!

"I bought this three years ago for my indoor/outdoor cat to keep him warm in the winter. He was a full-grown stray living in our neighborhood when we moved in, and although he spends a good portion of his time inside now, he freaks out if we try to keep him inside over night. So I got him this bed to keep him warm outside. When it gets really cold, I put the bed inside a mummy bag on a patio chair and put a warmed Snuggle Safe between the bed and the bag. It keeps my big guy (14 pounds) warm and toasty, even when the temperature drops into the 20s.
By the way, I removed the hanging toy immediately because this bed was for sleep, not playtime, and all it did was get in my cat's way.

"My kittens seem comfortable in this bed, but Tomoe destroyed the ball within minutes of play. The fuzz ball tore apart- if I hadn't gotten to it when I did, she would be nibbling at the fuzz inside the ball. I ended up also having to cut out the metal chain the ball had been attached to because she was nibbling on that as well.
Honestly- if you're going to attach an inedible toy to a cat bed with the intention of letting cats bat at it and play with it, why would you make it so easy to destroy and ingest? I wouldn't buy this again."

"I bought one of these for my young cat who was, at the time, about 5 months old and 6 or 7 pounds. She didn't even fit in it. It was very soft and comfy looking though, so I would recommend it to someone with VERY young kittens."

"When I first got this my cat tried it out but when she tried to get into it , it turns out she's too big! It's way too small for her and she never played with the toy. Not good for large cats."

"I sent in a review with pictures (from 'Amos'), but they never showed up :( I bought this bed last week for my formerly stray outdoor kitty to keep her warm during our 'cold' Southern Californian nights. She took to it after a couple hours. Now, due to an upcoming storm/s, I put this bed inside the Kitty Cat Condo I bought last year. She's warm and she'll stay dry. Hopefully the pictures will show up this time."

Great bed

"Let me start by saying I gave this an Overall Rating of 4 and the Quality a 4 for one reason-A larger size might be an idea for the future, as a 16-lb cat uses it and it can easily topple over if she doesn't position herself close to the front. Other than that, it's awesome. My neighbor and I were adopted by a stray cat about a year and a half ago. We've tried to get Gigi used to staying inside during the winter, but she won't have it. She'll gladly go into my neighbot's house, but she won't stay overnight. So, after using a bed of towels for a couple weeks to keep her warm at night (those Southern California winter nights can be brutal. hehe), I decided to try one of these little kitty cave things. I bought it last week and, after a couple hours, she finally went inside and curled up. Now, she's a 16-pound cat, so it takes some manuevering on her part to cram herself into it. It's quite comical to watch. Sometimes she'll sit too far back and it looks like the thing is going to fall over backwards. I still feel the need to cover her up w/a towel, as it can get pretty chilly at night (see pictures). When I'm home throughout the day, I'll peek my head outside and I'll see her curled up taking a cat nap. I am so glad I bought this bed. She really likes it. I would HIGHLY recommend this to other cat owners."

"I bought two of these for my kittens. They loved the dangling toy. It really attracted them to the bed. Great first impression to them. They don't lay in them much yet, but we do find one sleeping in the bed occasionally. My kittens like to sleep together, so I think they would be more interested in sleeping in their new beds if they could both fit in one. At only three months old, the two of them are too big to fit in together. Could just be too new yet too. I rated the appearance lower because they ship the beds smooshed up vertically, creating a bent bottom when opened up. If the kittens are playing with the ball inside, the bed sometimes tips over. It doesn't bother them when it happens, but annoyed me enough that I sewed a flat piece of cardboard on the bottom to stabilize the bed."

CATS LOVE THESE !!!!!!!!

"I recently sold my home and moved with three cats in tow. This was the only home they ever knew. I stumbled upon these beds and decided to buy them for my distraught cats. My oldest cat (13) took refuge in his little house and stayed there until we settled in the new home. All three cats "escape" to their new cozy little beds for naptime. I never believed they would love these beds so much ! Thank you for a great product !"

The wrong cat

"I bought this bed for a newly adopted member of the family, Squeek, who is about 7lbs. She hasn't shown much interest in it. On the other hand, my 18 lb, 5 1/2 year old, Tuxedo named Harry loves it. It took him about a 45 minutes and numerous attempts to fit his body into the bed--what a hoot. It now takes him around 8 minutes to snuggle up. He also get very upset if Squeek goes anywhere near it.
Maybe you should consider carrying a larger size as well."

"I PURCHASED THIS BED FOR MY CAT, SPROCKET,WHO IS 11 YRS OLD & HAS RECENTLY HAD HIS LEG AMPUTATED. EVERY BED I HAVE GOTTEN FOR HIM HE DIDN'T LIKE & I WOULD GIVE AWAY....BUT HE LOVES THIS BED.
