"I recently bought this product, after trying a static training collar with small remote. While it worked well to begin the teaching of boundaries to my Siberian Husky, it still didn't allow me to let her out unless I was right there. Now I have this. With the training she had with her collar, and training her on the boundaries, she turned around when she heard the collar beep, and won't go out of the yard at all unless I'm with her. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat."

The BEST invisible fence available....

"The range is a 90' radius circle adjustable down to almost nothing. If you have a very big yard and want to give your dogs more room, that is the ONLY reason to not get this. Setup can't be easier. Plug it in, done. Adjust the range if necessary. Two very nice features with regard to the collars. First, the level of correction is adjustable, so your dog won't get too strong of a correction if it isn't needed.
Second, and this might be the most important, unlike the buried wire invisible fence whereby the collar only corrects when the dog is near the buried wire, this system adds a correction when your dog gets OUT OF RANGE of the transmitter. So your dog will continue to get the correction until it gets back into range. With the buried models the dog could run through the fence, get a quick correction but keep going and not ever get another correction until it gets close again. Your dog will absolutely NOT run off if the correction is persistent like with this product.
One minor complaint is the proprietary batteries that you have to get from the pet store, and the battery life. I seem to be getting about 3 months out of a battery, and you have to order them or get them from the pet store. It would have been nicer if they used regular coin cell batteries that you can get anywhere. Don't let that dissuade you though, this is an awesome product. Plus, you can take it with you. We take it and put it in our camper and adjust the range down to about 15-20 feet, then bring it home, plug it back in and adjust it back to 90 feet. You can't go wrong with this product."

"Not happy with this at all. I learned it had to be indoors without ANY sortof obstruction otherwise it significantly downsizes the diameter of protected area. very dissapointed. It seemed like an easy set-up with no worries. sadly mistaken."

"We purchased the containment system because our dog was spending more time at the neighbors than at home. It is tricky at first, and it takes about a week for the dog to really get it. We accidentally put in on low range one day so our dog was contained to the area 3-4 feet from the house. When we got him trained, and us too, it is working great. It seems a little harsh when he gets shocked, but we had to turn it up or he would just ignore it. The collar is a little snug right now, but I will loosen it after he gets fully trained not to leave the yard. I would recommend this product, but know you must do the training as outlined in the manual."

"I have no problem in saying that. We moved into a house recently that had the underground invisible fence wire. It didn't work because it was shorted out; the only way to find out where was to dig the whole thing up; 5 acres worth.
We bought the wireless pet containment system after being told about it by the animal control officer that was called because our German Shepherd was running at large. IT was the best thing he ever did!
The system works great; we turned it all the way to 4 because our dog is stubborn, but that degree gets him to pay attention. The radius is set at 90' from a central point in the house. He has plenty of yard space in a big circle around the house. Found out if you buy another system, you can increase the radius up to 180'. Great if you're on 6 acres like us and want them to have more room to roam. The fact that it's transportable is fantastic too, because once your dog recognizes the beep when he gets too close to the perimeter, he won't cross it even in a strange place like a campground.

"I was always so concerned about my 2 rottweilers, they had to be always tied up because the minute you let them out side they would take off for hours at a time. We live close to a main road and I was always worried when they got loose. We got this containment system and I JUST LOVE IT. My girls have so much fun outside and I do not have to worry about them any more.
We are still getting use to the system, but they are doing very well. My girls have only step out side the distance three times before they realized they need to stay within the flags."

"I did not want the expense or work of digging up a trench to bury the wire used with a traditional invisible fence. This wireless systme was very easy to set up and although the area isn't huge for the dog to run in, it is appropriate for our small dog."

"We have a 9 mth old German Short-haired pointer, and live out in the country. Had a big problem with her wandering into the neighbors fields and really needed to learn to stay in her own yard. "We tried the wireless fence with out basset hound. The system never had the same boundry. The boundry would change each time you turned on the fence. When the automatic garage door was opened or closed it would interfer with the signal of the fence. If the dog was anywhere nere the garage door it would shock him even though he was within the boundry. Don't buy this item!"

"I was a little hesitate about purchasing this because of the shock factor but once your dog learns his/her boundaries and believe it or not -- understand what and why the collar is put on -- he'll get it. My dog learned quickly and even if the monitoring station is off he won't pass his boundaries becaue he has his collar on. My dog can sit on the porch and watch other dogs go by and not leave the porch. This is worth the money -- cheaper than installing a full fence. Will recommend to a friend"
