Dainty Doxie!
Date: June 6, 2009
"I bought this product when my 10 month old doxie went into heat. At first she didn't like it, but she got use to it quickly. I tried to put a maxi thin pad with wings inside to help for absorbtion, but she only tore it out. I especially liked how the hole for the tail was a bit big so she wouldn't deficate in her diaper, if I didn't get her outside in time. (I wouldn't have wanted to have to clean that mess off of her) My only dislike is that it is not recommended to dry the diaper in the dryer. Therefore I suggest a purchase of 2 or more."

Great Product For Senior Dog
Date: April 23, 2009
"Really soft and comfortable, sized larger than diapers for weight group, dark color looks better than diaper white. Easy to put on and take off quickly for going outside. She doesn't mind them at all. Very durable. I cut one end of the mesh strip to insert a liner. Stick on liners did not work for us. Regular cloth diapers did work ok as liners, some slippage. As they are, they are absorbent, but not enough for a dog with serious issues, and not leak proof. I have 3 that I rotate, and use as "shorts" over made for human pull ups or toddler diapers (whichever is on sale...) and they work great to hold them in place.
Doggie diapers work great too, although a tad small, and very expensive.
These would be terrific for a dog with a slight problem by themselves or with a liner. For a senior dog/large dog/overnight you will need something to go along with it.

These Work Great!
Date: March 4, 2009
"Bought size Med. for my 6 mon. old goldendoodle, first time in heat. Velcro tabs are easy to take on & off when taking your dog out. At first I used sanitary napkins, but later switched to a single tear papertowel(folded)- which worked fine- stayed in place and was absorbant, considering I changed it everytime I took her out. Results may vary depending on your dog. She did not bother with it- nor did her male companion doodle. Great product and worth every penny!"

WORKS GREAT!!!!!!!!
Date: February 24, 2009
"I HAVE A 3 1/2 YEAR OLD LAB. SHE IS NOT FIXED AND GOES INTO HEAT WHENEVER SHE FEELS LIKE IT. SHE IS AN INDOOR DOG WHO IS MY SERVICE DOG. I HAD TO FIND SOMETHING THAT WOULD WORK FOR BOTH OF US, THIS IS IT. SHE WEARS THE XL SIZE AND IT WORKS WONDERS. SHE CAN STILL MOVE IT OVER TO CLEAN HERSELF WHEN NEED BE. BUT IT STAYS ON AND SHE DOES NOT MIND IT AT ALL. THANKS FOR MAKING A GREAT PRODUCT. I JUST WISH THE TAIL HOLE WAS ALITTLLE BIT SMALLER AND HIGHER UP. I WOULD RECOMEND THIS TO ANYONE.
P.S YOU MIGHT WANT TO BUY 2 SO YOU CAN WASH ONE WHILE THEY WEAR THE OTHER ONE.

Small Dog Diapers
Date: May 7, 2008
"I really enjoyed these garments for training my small, 5 lbs. dogs. The only concern I had was that the tail hole was very large. For an extra small garment the holes for the tails were large enough for a medium size dog. This allowed my small dogs to do their business out the holes."

Just what we needed!!!
Date: February 27, 2008
"We just rescued a young female puppy who proceeded to go into heat just a few days afterwards. She started spotting and we were at a loss of how to handle this. I searched the internet for some info and found this product mentioned...we decided to give it a try. It does serve it's purpose. She is at the upper weight limit for the medium size, so it actually fits her alright. It does buckle a bit under the hole for her tail, but with a thicker pad it seems to be working great. We are thankful to have found this - hopefully this will be the only time she will need to use this as we definitely plan on having her spayed after she is through her cycle."

I Love These!!
Date: February 3, 2008
"I was concerned that my dogs would not want to wear these, but they don't mind at all. I had tried the disposables and they don't like those. Currently, I have to use the disposables while the others are in the wash. I ordered two more sets so I didn't have to use the disposables. I highly suggest using some very absorbant feminine pads with the adhesive strip as liners."

diaper garments
Date: January 28, 2008
"When my dog was in heat I used this diaper garment and it worked well but wasn't the best thing. I did however use the garment kind of like bloomers to go over the disposable diapers that worked very well so that they wouldn't get ripped off when she was playing with other dogs."

Best Purchase Ever

"My Doberman has a wetting problem when she sleeps. This product is great. I put a poise pad with it and it works wonderful. Simple Soultions is the better product. I have tried other brands but this one is the best. It fits better then the other brands and is more comfortable. The only problem is the hole is a little big but I just put the pad up a little bit to cover the hole."

Does not work
Date: November 17, 2007
"I bought this for my doxie when she was in season. It stayed on when she walked but when she would lay down or go to sleep it would fall off. The part where you put the pad is way to big for her. Our male min pin could still get to her and she would get to the pad and tear it out. I finally took it off of her and kept the two apart. I would not recommend this, it may look great and sound great to use but it is not made for all dogs."

Better than disposable diapers!
Date: August 26, 2007
"I just bought this product after returning the disposable ones. The garment fits way better, but it's a little loose on the bottom. At least it won't slip off like the diapers do. There are little flaws, like the hole for the tail is made a little too low, so it doesn't cover the bottom area very well. I have to tug it up a little. They seem to be comfortable because my dog doesn't get bothered by them that much. But this product is EXTREMELY overpriced, more overpriced than the disposable diapers."

Best purchase ever
Date: July 29, 2007
"I bought this for my 12 year girl dog. She has been incontinent for 1 year and decided to finally do something. I bought this for her and some Serenity pads to absorb everything and it works. It stays on for a long period of time and doesn't slip off. She also has a bad hip and can't get outside that often and this with the Serenity Pads, it stays on.
Thanks

Not for incontinence
Date: July 3, 2007
"This product may work okay for females in season, but I had no success with it on my incontinent female sheltie. She had surgery to remove a urethral mass and as a result is almost entirely incontinent. I tried this product with the lining pads, and after 30 minutes of wearing it, the entire diaper was soaked through. It leaked all over. I instead bought some pull-up disposable human diapers and cut tail holes in them. They work much better and do not leak urine. I would not recommend this product for incontinent dogs!"

Female Beagle Incontinent
Date: April 5, 2007
"Garment stays on although bags a bit under tail. While sleeping she still needs an absorbent cover over her bed in addition to a full size maxi with wings placed inside the garment itself because of leaks. It does absorb most of the urine but of course she is laying in it overnight and she needs a bath or good wipe down in the morning. I wash the garment as well with tea tree oil and soap in bathroom sink and hang to dry (per instructions). It has helped from soaking her bed. My opinion is that for an older incontinent pet you have to make do with what is available. This was a helpful purchase."

simple solution diaper garments
Date: February 23, 2007
"This garment saved my dog's life. She is a 14 yr old mini poodle and is incontintent of urine due to medicine she takes for congestive heart failure. She has been wearing these for 3 weeks and it has been a success. No more wet carpeting. We bought 2, one to wash & one to wear. It was getting to the point, I thought of putting her to sleep due to the mess and odor and this has solved all our problems. They stay on well. Despite a little wiggle walk at first, she has adjusted well to wearing them. They wash & dry well. I use human thin maxi pads as liners. They are cheaper and absorb well."

Serves its purpose; definitely a great buy
Date: January 21, 2007
"I got this for my little 4 year old lab mix for her seasonal problems. I've had female dogs before but never had one that bled enough to leave droplets everywhere. This product was perfect for her. It has elasticity around the leg area and adjustable Velcro for the waist area so it is good for dogs of different shapes and sizes. You'll want it somewhat snug around the body to prevent it from slipping; the "two finger" rule for collars is a good rule to go by for this case. She's a pretty energetic dog and the diaper hasn't slipped off of her yet! It took some time for her to get used to it, so for the first few days, she walked funny, it was so hard not to laugh! Give your dog some time to get used to this new thing if diapers are not a regular for you because this item can prove invaluable if you have a problem similar to mine."

Diaper Garment for my mini dachund
Date: January 10, 2007
"I have used the diaper garment on my mini dachund, and after reading some of the reviews, I am of the opinion that some of the problems are with the dog itself. My mini dachund will let me put ANYTHING on her. The diaper garment is a great product to use while your female is in heat. I would suggest going to the grocery store to buy small sanitary panty liners. They are a lot cheaper to use in the diaper. I did purchase the "small" size, but I think the "medium" might fit her better. My mini is approximately 12 to 13 pounds after she's had her fill of goodies! I would purchase again, and I would recommend this to a friend. So in short, I think in order for this to work, your dog must be a willing participant. You at least need to try it to see if it works. If it doesn't there's not much else you can do. Don't know if it fits well for a male???? P.S. If you try it and you like it, get another one!!! Because over time, it will get soiled."

it works
Date: December 6, 2006
"i've never had a dog in season before, so this was all new to me. i purchased this one size smaller, after reading the other reviews. snugged it up on her, and all is well. yes the hole for the tail is larger but with the pads just attach them down farther closer to the tail opening, it works for us, roxxi can stay in the house during this time. she's an australian shepherd so she hasn't a tail to worry about. we just take it off when she goes out to the bathroom and stick it back on her in the house. Nice product, funny to see my dog in a diaper!!!"

Uncomfortable Min Pin
Date: November 2, 2006
"This was a total waste of money! I have a 10 month old Miniature Pincher who is 5lbs, she went into heat and I bought this along with the liners. It would not stay on her!! It kept sliding off every time she'd walk, not to mention she walked bowl legged in the thing. The hole in the back for her tail was too big so when she'd lay down with it on it would move over and end up getting blood on what she was laying on. I ended up buying the disposable diapers and then putting this on over the diaper (the diapers would also slide right off of her) and it stayed in place a little bit longer. Maybe this product works better on bigger dogs, but I've had a frusterating past 10 days with it. :o) Have a great day and I hope this helps."
