"My friend had a chinchilla, who sadly died, but she still had some of this dust left. She gave it to me to clean my hamster with, and Roho loved it. It keeps them healthier, happier, and cleaner."

"i've heard that blue cloud and blue sparkle are the best dusts for chinchillas, but kaytee makes a good substitute. i first bought the super pet brand, then did research and found it's not fine enough to work correctly. my boy really likes the kaytee kind."

absolutely LOVE this dust bath over here! whenever the hammies get
their regular house cleaning every week, they also get a fabulous bath!
i pour some kaytee dust bath in a bowl and then i throw em' in there!
(well maybe not throw...) then i help them sprinkle some on their backs
and make sure it's hit every part and then they're clean! they seem to
like it too because they like to dig in it. afterwards, they're fur is
SO nice and fluffy! it's worth the money because it lasts a long time
if you use it wisely. it's a hamster-must in our home!"

"This was the only stuff at my local Petco. I do love it but I don't like how it acts like a make up thing on the chin so when he gets out of his bath....everything he touches gets powder everywhere....especially since I wear lots of black.

On the other hand it is ok. My chin likes it but it makes him sneeze."

"Both of my chins love this dust. I've never used anything else. I can't imagine why it wouldn't be good. But I would definitely recommend this product. I like most Kaytee products as well, like their chin food."

"i read everywhere that hamsters appreciate the dust baths just as much as chinchillas! however, my hamster freaks out when she sits in the dust but some like to roll around in it. it sure makes her hair fluffy and nice though!"
