Bestest Water Bottle Ever`

"Okay, I'll give that this thing is not for kids to use. The top doesn't snap tightly so you can't turn it upside down. I'll also give that a ferret could remove the top. HOWEVER I have 3 and I 've been using them for my guinea pigs for months. I do have one pig who loves to let it drain and then lay on the wet bedding when he's hot..but he does that with all of them. Especially when pigs are bored this is common. It does NOT drain too fast for adult pig. Babies should NOT be on this big of a tube anyway, they should have the smaller tubes.
I LOVE it because it doesn't leak as long as I tighten it at the base.
I LOVE it because it has a screen to filter anything that might get in the water.
I LOVE it because it doesn't have the ball to get food stuck in.
I LOVE it because once it's properly attached there is no need to remove it except to clean it.
I LOVE it because once it's PROPERLY attached NOTHING will budge it. But you DO have to get it right. But no more bottles falling off the cage.

I always fill it AFTER I put it in place and I never fill it full because it's a big bottle for one pig and it'll just turn green if I did.
GET this and try it if you are sick of bottles that have the ball bearing wear and and get replaced. I love love it"

No Way

"There is no way you should purchase this bottle. It is horrible. The easy to clean top can be taken off by my ferrets and rabbit. The top also leaks. The leak proof valve doesn't but the top does. The valve is also hard for my ferrets rabbit and guinea pig to us. It also fit awkwardly on the cages. I dont like this bottle and neither do my pets."

"I love this water bottle. It works great. And there is not the risk of my pets getting their tongue stuck between the ball and the tube. Easy to fill; easy to clean. So great I'm ordering another!!!"

"I bought this water bottle thinking it would make filling and cleaning easier. Not the truth at all. This is the worst water bottle I've owned. It doesn't leak, but more water flows than my guinea pig can drink and most of it just goes to the bottom of the cage getting everything VERY wet.

BUYER BEWARE!"

"I am so mad that I spent money on this bottle. I have a big one, and I have to refill it constantly because my Guinea Pigs are thirsty...not to mention I have to change their cage daily just to keep them dry, clean, and comfy. It soaks their entire cage...sure no drips, but water pours out faster than they can drink it when they push the trigger. Save your money. Try Water Buddy...it gets great reviews. Just do a search online. I'm buying one right now."

"This was my first pet bottle for my 2 rabbits they loved it but i didn't love the smell when i went to go refill it and it would stink whe n i smelled it ever since then i had to get rid of it but am willing to but another due to the one i have is the ball point which my rabbit that is still alive has the urge to pull on it i need another so yes i would recommend this product for your thirsty cuties"

Best Water Bottle

"Before we got this water bottle we had 2 bottles that had the ball roller.Those 2 made lots of noise and leaked and I had to change them alot. We boguht this water bottle to make it easier on our petsitter to fill it. My piggies love it.It's so quiet and doesn't leak.Its easy to attatch to their cage and easy to clean. I only have to refill it ever 3 or so days.Even my cat likes it."

"I agree with some of the other reviewers here. The idea behind the product is great, but the outcome isn't so.
I have it for my guinea pig and he has no problem using the weird tip, but everytime he goes to get a drink, water just flows out like crazy! I've had to put a little dish to collect the water in and it seems every 2 days I am constantly refilling the darn thing because it loses so much water!
I wouldn't recommend this to any one, not unless they enjoy cleaning critter cages everyday or unless they come up with some genius idea to fix the problem."

"I have 5 chinchillas, and 3 of them just LOVE their bottles. The others are still figuring them out.. I do reccomend this product, and the fact that it dosen't drip all over their fur. I would advise that you rub a favorite sticky treat on the little valve, to encourage them to press it, and keep a small water dish in the cage until they get a good grasp on using the bottle."

"The idea behind the product is great, but not practical. Most small animals dont have the strength to push the metal making water come out, and when the water does come out, it just pours. I wasted $10 on this product that I could have used on food for my small animals."

Save your money...HORRIBLE!

"I really loved the look and idea of these, but they were horrible for my poor little guinea pigs! The valve is great in that it doesn't leak, but when the piggies press the valve with their tongue to drink, the water just flows out and the cage was constantly soaked! Sure, its great if you want to change your cage EVERY DAY! I would love these bottles if they had a regular ball valve, but as it is, I really just threw away good money!"

"I bought this water bottle because a cheap one i got kept leaking... This one is a little different but i was willing to give it a try. Sure enough both my ferrets (one 2 yrs and the other a new addition - baby) both learned to get used to it and it has lasted me longer than any other water bottle I have had. Honestly I prefer this water bottle over the ball tip ones because i didn't have to worry about leakage. If you give it enough time your pet should learn to figure it out (a few demonstrations don't hurt)."

"I really liked the product when i took it out of the box. My pet rabbits however, did not. The valve that regulates water flow is a little strange. Instead of a ball that the animal presses with their tongue, there is a tip of a stick where the ball would be. I put them in the cages overnight and one of my rabbits chewed through the bottle in desperation by morning. When I tried to press it in with my fingertip it gave enough resistance to leave a bit of a mark. It's a good idea but not very pet friendly."

"I use this bottle for my dogs. It prevents them from playing in the water bowl and making a huge mess! Very easy to fill with the flip top. Does not leak, licking area is different from the little steel ball type. Price is a bit high, but haven't found one comparable for a cheaper price yet."

Good but not great.

"I really did not like this product. I held a lot of water but it was really difficult. There was to many pieces and there was only one spot on my cage where I can put it and my Guinea Pigs could not get to it without difficulty. It is to big and the pieces are to hard to deal with just for a water bottle."

Flip Top Water Bottle

"I have two guinea pigs and I have tried several water bottles. This bottle works better than all the others. This bottle does not contain a little spring ball at the drinking site like most other bottles, which is great because it prevents leaks. It's flip top is also convenient when watering. As with all bottles I have used there will be some water leaked into the cage by the animal when it is drinking."
