This product is great for your dog. My dogs would get "hot spots" in the summer and would itch and lose hair, especially on their lower back. This product keeps their skin from drying out and puts moisture back in the skin and hair. Therefore, no itching, no losing hair. I put the recommended amount in their food every afternoon. My boys and girls no long have bald spots on their backs! Happy dogs!

Effective but messy...

I purchased this product to keep my Corgi's coat healthy and shinny. It's doing the job, but it's not the easiest product to dispense. Another type of cap would make dispensing a lot easier. As is, adding this product to the food is a messy process. The liquid drips down the sides of the bottle and a lot goes to waste. Jak thinks the taste isn't bad, but not too good either. Next time I will try another product.

As far as essential fatty acid supplements go, Lipiderm has been around for many years, and that's a good thing. This product has an excellent Omega3/Omega6 profile and comes in both a capsule and liquid form to make dosing easy.

I have a beautiful black labrador that was plagued with dry skin and a constant itch. Now that I use Lipiderm, she has the shiniest, deepest black coat I've ever seen and best of all she doesn't itch constantly anymore.
