"Some how I always manage to run out of guinea pig and hamster food at the same time so I had to rush over to petco to get some more. I couldn't find the type that I normally get, which is a fortified pellet with extra vitamin c. So after standing around in the food aisle for a long time I saw this food and desided for the type of food it was and the price it seemed to be the best. I don't like getting the foods with all the extra seeds and crunchy bits because those just go to waste with my piggies. This kaytee food seemed perfect! I have had it now for almost a week and my cavys are eating it. I'm lucky that my babies aren't picky, but it will take them a while to get used to the new food. So right now I'm giving it a 3/5, but hopefully in the near future my piggies will love it!"

"This food is perfect for my lil picky piggies. I have tried 2 other kinds of food with "extras" in it. They picked out what they didn't like. This food is great because it is plain with none of the extras they don't like. I like to keep my lil guys happy!"

"Tommy loves this food. With a seed mix your guinea pig will pick and choose its favourite foods (usually eating the unhealthy foods only, and wasting your money). This food is healthy, cheap, and tasty for your cavies. Tommy and me love this food for him!"

"this is the perfect belen because most of the time it has all different pieces so they pick through what they like most and leave everything else. but with this they eat everything and they get what they might have missed because they would pick and chose the other stuff.. so i would recommend this to any one who has a picky piggy like me.. because they could miss out on the essential vitamins they need... it rocks!!!!

"For the price you pay, this guinea pig food is awsome. My piggies eat it up. The only down side to this product is the lack of added vitamin C. However, if you are responsible, you give your pet the needed vitamin C daily anyway so that small detail doesn't matter."
