"The Kaytee Sunflower Hearts & Chips is a fantastic product. My finches go absolutely crazy over it and provide quite a show at my feeders. This in turn makes my cat go nuts too so this becomes quite entertaining both inside and out. The birds just can't seem to get enough of this product and it makes no mess like having shells all over the ground. The squirrels can't get to my feeders so they are content to eat the crumbs that drop. I use the type of birdfeeder, also purchased through Petco, which is a hanging tube with 6 perches that they really prefer. But this food is not just for finches as I mix it in with the Wild Bird Food and serve it in my open-sided gazebo feeders to sparrows, juncos, nuthatches, chickadees, and even some boisterious but beautiful blue jays. It's a great product for the cost and easy to serve. The only drawback is the cellophane bag which punctured in transit (Petco sent a new bag, free) and which Kaytee really should package in a less fragile plastic bag to ship."
