"i have never had to purchase this toy repetitively! i had to replace it either because the cats damaged it to eternity or the sticky pad from the wall lost its stickiness but you will not regret it, I have had one of my cats go at it all for a few hours in one shot that she would have to pass out for sometime before she went at it again.. they keep jumping up and down you need to find a place where the sound of them thumping up and down isn;t so annoying!"

"I have purchased almost every toy under the sun for my 2 furry boys. This never fails to please them. Kinda like the toddler that likes to play with the box the gift came in, not the gift. It may not look fantastic. But it never fails, if they get bored pull a fresh one out, it never fails to draw some hissing and competition. One note though: I never leave it out. I use it to play with them then the toy gets put up. This always makes it seem more special and they dont get bored of it. Once the cardboard they chase and slobber on gets loose looking and beat up its time to pull a new one out, they are also treated with catnip. I give them as gifts regularly!"

"My friend recently gave the cat dancer to me as a gift. She said it was for me but i could not figure out what she ment by me and not my cats. I now know why. My cat loves the Cat Dancer!

"I adopted an adult cat from a shelter, and I had bought a variety of toys anticipating her arrival. However, she pays no attention to balls or bells or fuzzy things. I finally opted for the Cat Dancer because I once watched my friend play with his cat with one and it drove his cat crazy! Plus I figured at such a low price, I wouldn't be too bummed if my cat didn't like it. The second the thing was out of the bag, my cat went nuts! It was the first toy she responded to. If your cat loves interactive toys, and will only play if you're the one interacting with her, then this is a good product to try. It's also amazingly sturdy. After a lot of biting and pulling and clawing and other sorts of abuse the little cardboard cylinders at the end didn't fall apart at all. I haven't used the wall mount yet, because I don't have proper wall space to stick it on...also the warning that the adhesive is permanent worried me, as I rent my apartment and don't want to damage the walls."

"Our past cats always loved this toy best. When I got a new cat from the shelter, he didn't seem to know how to play at all... but sure enough, he loves this. He's not interested in other toys (even mice), but always goes crazy over the Cat Dancer. There are a variety of ways to play with it -- dragging, floating, bouncing. I also like that the best cat toy is so simple and inexpensive. And it's low-profile visually."

"My roommate bought this toy for her cat, and both her cat and my 2 ferrets fell in love with it! It lasts for about 8 or 10 months before you have to replace it (by that time the cardboard falls off), so that's a long time for a cheap toy! THey go absolutely bonkers for it...it's so simple but yet incredibly entertaining apparently! Great for cats and ferrets! (and who knows what else!)"

"Our cat was bored and would always try to play predator games with us. In fact, she would run up and bite us out of nowhere, we weren't even touching her. We got her this toy and she is over biting! She plays until she wears herself out and is ready to be loved. I would buy this toy for anyone with cats and I would buy it over and over again for our little cat. It's great! It's funny too, because our cat will turn flips in the air trying to catch the little pieces of cardboard."
