Good idea
Date: August 28, 2009
"The idea of the diner is great the only problem is they needed to be a little heavier. My toy Pom moves it too easily - even when set on a skid free mat."

Better to Splurge on Highter Quality
Date: August 8, 2009
"The bowls were on sale so I was excited to save a few bucks (since adopting 2 kittens can be expensive!) Sadly, bowls were/are made of a cheap quality metal, and the paint was peeling from the stand when I got the set out of the box. I don't want the kittens or dog to have paint/metal chips in their food, so I returned it to the store and am now searching for a better set. I'd rather spend a few extra bucks and get good quality!"

Strange Smell
Date: January 17, 2009
"After having these bowls for my li'l girl since she was three months (she's nine now), they have begun to have a rust-like smell. I also have a Petco two-tone silver bowl for the kitchen, and that one, which I purchased at the same time, has never emitted such a smell and it always holds extra drinking water for her.
Now that she's bigger and outgrowing her 16 oz diner bowls, I am going with the two-toned silver bowls for her, I think once you smelled the odor coming from the metal on these highly-polished bowls (I wash them every few days), you would go the same route.

Don't Buy.
Date: January 4, 2009
"I bought this for my 12 week old cocker spaniel puppy. this feeding bowl was no for me for several reasons....
Although the steel bowls might be a preference to some, there are a lot of downsides to this feeder.
The depth of the bowl is fine, but the width of the bowl was not good for cocker spaniel as they have long ears, so their ears dip in the food.
Another thing was that the bowls starts rotating as the food becomes low or when the puppy starts licking the bowl.
when puppy's are teething they chew on anything and everything...so the metal stands are very tempting to my puppy.
Also, the two bowls are so close together that when the puppy has his mouth in one bowl his ear dips in the other bowl."

Rust!
Date: August 23, 2008
"I have two sets of these stands and I recently had to throw away 3 of the 4 "rust-proof" bowls as they were covered in rust spots. They did last about a year, however, before the rust appeared. I am debating whether to replace with the same bowls or try something new. The 4th bowl (which has only ever contained dry food) is perfectly rust free. I do like the raised bowl feature."

GOOD BUY IF ON SALE
Date: May 18, 2008
"I purchased this plain elevated set on sale for my 2 medium-size cats. I only use the bowls for their water. They are easy to clean, the bowls are DW safe and the rubber feet keep them from sliding on the floor."

Great Bowls
Date: February 8, 2008
"I love the stainless steel & the durable rubber bottom stoppers. The only problem is that I thought the actual bowls were larger. My puppy will eventually outgrow the bowls and I will unfortunately have to replace the bowls."

Cool Dude
Date: February 8, 2008
"I like the bowls.
Very easy to clean out.
Kind of hard to tell whether or not theres water in it if its kind of low...no fault of the bowl tho...just laziness not wanting to bend down..lol.
My pup was afraid of the bowls at first sight, so I had to sit there with him until he was comfortable enough to eat from it.
He's fine now. I think he likes it.

great bowls
Date: February 4, 2008
"I bought the small ones for my Mini Schnauzer Pennington. We had a similar style previously with ceramic bowls that had broken when dropped. We love the style, keeping the food slightly elevated and easy to remove the bowls to clean. The black wiring came broken so it tilts slightly, but it didn't bother us much and it should be easily fixed with crazyglue. Otherwise, the bowls are great, they are so easy to handwash."

Awesome.
Date: January 29, 2008
"I've gone though a bunch of cat bowls, and as any pet owner knows, with feeding bowls you get what you pay for. These are by far the best bowls I have ever used. Their elevated, perfect for both my cats. I used to use one for water and one for food, but when I got another cat and an water fountain for my cats it became two food bowls. They are VERY easy to clean. I just put them in the dish washer every two or three days, no pre-rinse necessary and they are back to sparkling. Even when I hand wash them they are very easy to clean. Highly recommended."

No bones about it,
Date: January 25, 2008
"I was very pleased with time it took to recieve my best friends Stainless Steel Double Diner. I have had my New England Terrior since she was a puppy eight weeks old. Now she is fifteen years old and eating in the elevated feeder/waterer seems to make life a little eaiser. She likes to take one bite at a time out, flip it and play a few minutes, you would think shes a pup. I like the stainless/rust proof dishes pretty to look at excellent to clean. Thank-You PETCO for makeing our life eaiser. I would highly reccomend this product to dogs and puppies alike."

Smaller than it looks!
Date: March 31, 2007
"I ordered the 32 oz. and it seems to be more like 24 oz. I was slightly disappointed but it will still work for my dog. I just wish Petco didn't label it incorrectly."
