"My young leopard gecko LOVES it. The only thing that bothers me is that it blocks the sun from the heat lamp. I fixed the heat problem by using a heat mat. I donno. Luna loves it!!"

"My pythons love to get into it and peek out with their heads. The spend most of their time in it. My two boys are almost both 4 feet long and both of them fit into this. I believe when are are both full grown, which will be abour 5 or 51/2 feet they will still fit inside of it together."

Great hideout

"My leopard gecko absolutely loves this log: she sleeps under it all day, and it's the perfect size for her (medium). I've had the log for about three years, and I've washed it several times, and it hasn't gotten moldy or attracted any unwanted insects, nor has any of the bark come off. I would definitely recommend this product."

"I have two of these for my snakes, and they both enjoy them very much. The rough bark is useful to aid in shedding, and overall very aethetically pleasing. The only problem is it doesn't seem easy to clean, but I also haven't needed to clean mine yet."

"I bought this for my green tree frogs. They love to lay on it to get warm under the lamp. They also use it to hide under and bury themselves in the dirt. I would recommend this for anyone that has frogs."

"I love this log and so do my 2 pack man frogs! i got the x-larg for them and thay can both fit in there at once (they are rather large frogs so not many hideouts fit them both at once) I use to have to get 2 of those pet igloos in the small animal section! they also can get wet with out molding wich is pritty asome since they are made of real wood- so they also go along whith their habitat!"

"I got this for my breeder pair of gerbils a year ago, as a nest. There son cloud liked it so much i moved it with him to his new cage. After 8 months of chewing this log is still going strong. Cloud uses it constantly, and its big enough to fit all his bulk in, as he is the largest gerbil i have ever seen. I also like it because if placed against the glass you can see the animals inside, and if placed in the middle of the cage it can be used as a tunnel.
Over all great buy, must have for all rodents and herps!"

I Love This Product!

"I'm Princess Jaya, a female desert tortoise. My owner bought this for me, and I loved the shade it gave me. I started climbing on it, but I flipped onto my back, falling off. My owner helped me up, and after lots of practice, I never fall down. I am a great climber, even though I can't climb ladders or anything. My owner makes me obstacle courses, to impress her friends. This thing trained me to climb really well! BUY IT!!!"

"But my snakes obviously do too. Some people say it doesn't allow enough privacy but when turned the right way it gives them the privacy that they need and all 3 of my snakes use this log. My finicky male actually used it until it fit like a turtle shell and now I'm getting him a larger one. It is not only great for a hide but it also aids in shedding and gives a basking spot if you use a heat lamp. It is a good idea to bake it in the oven to make sure it is sterile before adding to cage."

"I liked this product because it provided a hiding place adn basking place that wasn`t artificial- my Bearded Dragon has had two of these. one when he was smaller; and another one just recently because of his increasing size. They hold up to daily use and do not mold when they are gotten wet. I would deffinately reccomend this to a Herp Owner!"
