"These are really fun! Also, they are natural looking and the amphibian can crawl on top of it AND in it! My frogs like to sit on top of it all the time."

"I bought this for my Royal Ball Python. He loves it. He gets on top which I think helps with the shedding since its rough. It looks great too. The price is a lil' too much but I think it's a great product (worth it)."

"I have two baby beardies, a few weeks old. Who seem to love this. They like to bask on it, haven't gone under though seem a bit scared. One of my beardies 'waved' for the first time on here, which makes it even better =D
I don't like that the bark comes off easy, and knowing babies they can choke on it. But that's probably known going into it.
Sometimes i tip it vertically so they can get closer to their basking light, this won't stop them from going on it. It's kinda neat to see them climb up it.
I think it adds a nice touch, plus it's cheap. Deff recommend this."

"This product is great, I get to run on top of it and sleep under it. Whenever I go to the pet store with my owner, I always see the other reptiles, and they always have this product for them. I guess they love it as much as I do!

"I had hermit crabs and now I have a Leopard gecko and they both loved this item. It gave my crabs a nice place to hide at and feel secure and it also is great for my new leo as a place to rest. The outside is a nice quality and it's a little rough to give good grip for climbing and also for shedding leos who need something to rub the excess skin off on. I recommend this to anyone looking for a quality hide."

"We bought a Mac's Creatures & Critters Pet Refuge for our sons Leopard Gecko when we bought it for him at Petco. We've not had the Mac's Creatures & Critters Pet Refuge in Puppysnakes tank for a little over 7 years and he loves it. He goes under it to sleep at night, uses it to help loosen and remove his sking when he's shedding. He also likes to get on top of it after we put crickets in there so he can see where they are all hopping off too....hahaha. I can honestly say that the Mac's Creatures & Critters Pet Refuge has many more uses then you'll first realize and takes care of many things without having to buy multiple items. We're planning on buying a new Mac's Creatures & Critters Pet Refuge on my hubbys next payday but in a larger size so Puppysnake and stretch out without running out of leg room"

"excellent log - my bp loved his so much that i had to get him a larger one when he got bigger & even after he outgrew that one if i let him he would stuff himself into it anyways. helps keep humidity, doesn't rot & is great for helping snakes shed"

"My young leopard gecko LOVES it. The only thing that bothers me is that it blocks the sun from the heat lamp. I fixed the heat problem by using a heat mat. I donno. Luna loves it!!"

"My pythons love to get into it and peek out with their heads. The spend most of their time in it. My two boys are almost both 4 feet long and both of them fit into this. I believe when are are both full grown, which will be abour 5 or 51/2 feet they will still fit inside of it together."

"My leopard gecko absolutely loves this log: she sleeps under it all day, and it's the perfect size for her (medium). I've had the log for about three years, and I've washed it several times, and it hasn't gotten moldy or attracted any unwanted insects, nor has any of the bark come off. I would definitely recommend this product."

"I have two of these for my snakes, and they both enjoy them very much. The rough bark is useful to aid in shedding, and overall very aethetically pleasing. The only problem is it doesn't seem easy to clean, but I also haven't needed to clean mine yet."

"I bought this for my green tree frogs. They love to lay on it to get warm under the lamp. They also use it to hide under and bury themselves in the dirt. I would recommend this for anyone that has frogs."

"I love this log and so do my 2 pack man frogs! i got the x-larg for them and thay can both fit in there at once (they are rather large frogs so not many hideouts fit them both at once) I use to have to get 2 of those pet igloos in the small animal section! they also can get wet with out molding wich is pritty asome since they are made of real wood- so they also go along whith their habitat!"

"My young cornsnake loves this hide. She is in it often and I plan on buying a larger size as she grows. It's safe and provides a natural hide that animals feel safe in. It also makes a perfect toy for rodents as well."
