I bought three of these seed cakes and their matching holders. I look forward to feeding even more birds during the Harsh Connecticut Winter.

The Redwing, Cowbird, and Grackel blackbirds like this but Harry, Downey and Flickers won't touch it. The Redhead woodpeckers will eat it if there isn't anything else. End result is I have a lot of blackbirds in the yard but few woodpeckers.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

GREAT FOR MY HAMSTER. HE SPENT WEEKS CHEWING THIS. IT WAS HEALTHIER ALTERNATIVE TO CHEWING WOOD BLOCKS.
