"I am so glad I ordered the pen. It gives our puppies room to play, eat, and be paper trained. The door is very useful makes getting in and out very easy for me and my children. I am thinking of getting another one. I use it in the house and take it outside also."

Door is hard to operate

"I purchased this in order to keep my new yorkie puppy in the laundry room and not have to leave him in a crate. He is a great escape artist! We have a pet gate that we currently use for our poodle mix but since our yorkie is so small, he can fit through the bar openings. This pen was supposed to replace the gate.
I bought it knowing that he will not be able to escape through the wires and also give both him and our 3 year old poodle enough room to play together.
I was disappointed because I couldn't get the door to open and there were no instructions that came with the pen. I tried everything from taking the pieces apart but somehow the door latch would not come apart. So, I had to return it for this purpose. It may be simple but I could not figure it out. Other than that, it would work but for me it defeats the purpose of having a door as part of the pen when it can't be accessible."

"This "Pen" was a total blessing for our little 2lb. 8 week old Maltese. We were able to put her crate with bedding, pad and plenty of toys in there for her so she could have it all and not be cramped. She is now 16 weeks old and that is her little haven where she can go in and out when she likes. I am thinking of getting another for when we go camping next Spring and hooking them together to make one huge pen as I also have a 4 year old Maltese. This way they would have plenty of play room instead of being on leashes and getting tangled up together."

"I couldn't wait to recieve this pen. I wanted to see if it was as good as the one my daughter bought for twice as much. It was !! I use it both inside and outside. Inside when workmen are at the house and outside when I am working in my garden.( We are not allowed to have fences in our development.) It has a great door that my daughters does not have and it has two locks so Lupita can not get the door open."

Good deal for the money

"This is a good pen for the money, but it definitely doesn't feel as good as one that I bought for $80. It doesn't seem to want to stand up perfectly straight unless it's in it's configured shape. Our 3-4 lb Chihuahua-pug puppy was able to escape from it as well. I think she was probably able to get her paws into the grates and climb the wall. But it works well to keep her in the room that we're in, I just wouldn't use it if I wanted to keep her totally secure on her own."

"We go camping with our dogs and I always saw other people with the pens for the dogs instead of having leashes tangling up, etc. We just used this for the first time on our camping trip and the trip was much more relaxing than ever. I am actually want to get a hammock for the next time we go camping because this pen was great. This one is sturdy and self contained. Such an easy set-up with not extra parts. I would recommend this pen to any one with pets and whether it is set up on carpet or grass, it is sturdy and solid."

"My 7 pound poodle had no problem jumping over this 4 foot monstrosity. It didn't keep him contained at all. This will not work for dogs that can jump. It also would work better outside staked into the ground because it is easy to push over in the house. The one plus I had about it was I got it for $25 cheaper online then I did in the store!"

"Pen is not as heavy-gauge as many used by handlers, etc. but is excellent for home use, and offers a way to contain pet when traveling, etc. Can be attached to a cage, and we have been using in this way outside with puppy too young to have free roam of yard."
