Vittles Vault Pet Food Container

"The Vittles Vault is by far the best product for keeping my pet's food fresh. It is sturdy and maintains its balance when filling it-which is a great help when you are holding a large, unwieldy bag of pet food. The 50 pound container easily holds most large bags of dog food. It stops bugs from getting into your pet's food and keeps the food fresh longer. The shape of the container is also good (square and space-saving). My dog gets excited when she hears me close the air-tight spinner lid-it means dinner time for her!"

The Vittle Vault is Great

"The Vittle Vault is the best product I purchased in all of 2005. The dry dog food I buy has some moisture in it and it would dry out when left in the bag. I had been trying lots of things to keep it from drying out. I tried storage bins but they are not air tight. I tried putting press and seal plastic wrap on the storage bins. Nothing worked. I finally found the Vittle Vault and I am thrilled with it. After telling a neighbor, she bought one too because she keeps her dry dog food on her screened porch and the ants would get in it. She says, no more ants. (I keep my dry dog food in the kitchen.) I bought the 30 lb size and it easily holds my 20 lb bag of dog food when it's still a quarter full. I really like pouring the whole bag in at once and throwing the big bag away. This is a great product. "

Does the Trick

"Seems to do the trick, the plastic is not chew proof; our dog initially chewed the very outer edge of the lid while it was screwed in. That was just initially, now he doesn’t pay much attention to it…until he hears the lid unscrew!"

No More Ants

"I use to have a terrible ant problem, but not anymore. I tried cheaper containers but they all failed the ant test. Now, there's not an ant to be seen anywhere. They packed up and left. This container is very sturdy. I have one that's over 10 years old and it's as good as new. I bought a new one today for dog food. I use the other for cat food. This is a good investment for pet owners."

"I put my dogs food in it when we go camping and it is great because it is easy to store in the camper. much better then putting the food into plastic bags and the dogs ripping the bags to get to the food."

"I love this! We bought it thinking it was a bit expensive but it has been well worth it. It does not tip over and it keeps things so fresh! I have a bit of a problem getting it open if its too tight but that just shows its sealed well! I couldent find anything that would hold so much dog food AND keep it this air tight."

Just Fantastic

"We have had several of these for the past few years. We do dog rescue work and the number we have at any one time varies. The one constant is that we go through massive amounts of dog food. These vittles vaults store it beautifully and we have never had a problem with insects.
The one word of caution that I would give is that they are not totally raccoon proof. The little critters did manage to chew a very small hole in one of them when they were left outside in a rural area.
That is the only downside I have found though. I am actually ordering more!"

"My husband and I bought one for our dog, after trying different things to store his dog food in. The Gamma Vittles Vault has been wonderful, his food no longer goes bad. Our children lost the rubber gasket, I called Gamma and they had replacements for it.
I have now bought 4 more, to use for other things aside for dog food because we had so much luck with keeping the dog food in good condition, we are hoping to have the same success as we did with the dog food."

"I purchased 2 of the 80 lbs. containers to store both my dogs' feed in them. I love the fact that they are air tight (I live in a humid climate) and keep out bugs. You can open and close the lid with one hand. My only complaint is that although they say they store up to 80 lbs., they do not even hold 60 lbs. of my dogs' feed. My suggestion would be to order the next biggest size than what you are planning to, so you won't be disappointed."

"I bought the largest size "Vittles Vault" to keep Ava's dog food nice and fresh. It works great. I would recommend getting a larger size than your dog food bag so that all of the food can fit inside. The seal is fantastic and it looks neat and organized. It is easy to clean and includes a 1-cup scoop. I would highly recommend "The Vittles Vault" to any pet owner who feeds dry food! Maintaining total dog food freshness is well worth the cost of this container. 5 Paws!"

Every pet owner needs one!

"Awesome product. Every pet owner needs one or more! Keeps food fresh and bug free. IT REALLY WORKS. I had a problem with ants. Bought this and no more ants. I originally purchased it for dog food and liked it so much I had to buy a second for my cats' food. It is totally leak proof with the best seal I have seen in any pet food storage system."

The Best Food Container!

"We have a huge ant problem and have lost many bags of food to ants. Until we bought this container. We actually bought 3 different sizes, and use for rice, cat food, and bunny food. We have had the containers for a couple of years now and the only problem I have is the gasket has stretched out (thanks to 3 kids). We have had no problems with ants, or our fat cat tearing into the containers. I love them! Yes, they are much more expensive than seems reasonable, until you lose a new bag of food to bugs."

Vittles Vault

"This is the best food storage container I have found. It keeps all bugs out of it. It keeps the food fresh and my cats come running when they hear me spinning that lid.
I love it and plan on buying an additional one to hold new cat litter in a moist storage area."

Lost w/out it

"I currently use my 50+lb vittles vault for storing my horse's grain. It's always just as fresh as when I opened the bag. I'll be buying a smaller one to store my dog's food. Great product, a must have for anyone who cares whether their pet's food is dry, fresh and delishious :-D"
