Sticky Paws For Furniture
Date: December 12, 2005
"I recently purchased this product and I've had a lot of success with it. I do wish that the strips were wider. I have to use two strips to cover each chair corner/edge, so wider strips would be wonderful. They do lose their sticky, so you have to keep them replaced, but all in all, it's less expensive than replacing the recliners."

One of the best things i've ever gotten
Date: November 12, 2009
"My cat used to wake us up all night with her plucking of the corner of a wall that we had. VERY IRRIATATING,
Got sticky paws, applied it, and she attempted to scratch the corner, but didn't like the feel of the sticky and stoped scratching...
ONLY DOWN SIDE IS... She likes to lick the sticky...isn't as irriatating, but weird...

Sticky Paws Works
Date: September 30, 2009
"My two cats, both less than a year old, have been pretty good about using a scratching post, but sometimes, they will go up to a fabric covered chair or couch and claw. I've placed Sticky Paws on the furniture they seem to forget not to scratch and after a couple of "sticky" moments, they are leaving those items alone. Good product."

Good and Bad
Date: September 10, 2009
"Good: When applied to hard surfaces it acts as a great deterrant. My cat will paw at it and then walk away.
Bad: When applied to soft surfaces (drapes, carpeting, etc.), my cat will simply sit there and play with it until it comes off. Not very effective."

awesome product
Date: December 2, 2008
"I started using this product on my door frames. And to my delight....its working. All I do is follow my cat as she finds one by one every location she would want to scratch on and I eliminate each site she finds by using the sticky pads. Compared to the damage my cat would otherwise cause this product is very inexpensive and is worth every penny. Eventually every location my cat wants to scratch will be eliminated and she will be forced to finally use her scratching post."

I love these things!
Date: June 19, 2008
"I recently bought these as a "last ditch" effort to get my cat to stop scratching my couch and bottom step. I didn't think it would do much good but it was inexpensive and I thought I'd give it a try. My cat doesn't even TOUCH my couch where i put these down and you can barely even see them! I won't stop buying these and have told everyone I know about them. I would definitely recommend these one anyone - they are worth trying!!!"

Not a good investment
Date: May 30, 2007
"I have 3 male felines who love to scratch at everything. In between nail clippings, they will use my furniture as scratching posts. On my last visit to PetCo, I came across this product. I placed them on my furniture according to the directions on the package. My 3 boys loved them. They tore them off with their claws, tongue and teeth. They played with them as if they were their new toy. Then they went back to scratching my furniture. I would not reccomend these to anyone."

Not so great
Date: December 7, 2006
"The concept of this product is good, as cats do not like the sticky sensation HOWEVER the strips(double sided tape) in my opinion are far too thin both in width and thickness, plus the, "Sticky" doesn't seem strong or long lasting enough to do much good. Like another reviewer suggested you would need quite a few packages to cover the entire area and that is just not feasible. Even so after covering the entire area I found my cat was still able to scratch through the product with no problem. I also found if you leave the strips in place for very long they can leave a sticky residue on the furniture, which is almost impossible to remove, either that or they come off in tiny bits and pieces when trying to remove/replace them. As directed you also have to be careful about the fabric you are placing the strips on, as I found more fragile fabrics were more likely to be at risk. I have 4 cats, yet only 1 is a scratcher and he actually scratched through the strips in record time then tried to eat the pieces which fell off, while my furniture still has some sticky residue I simply cannot get off. If you have a very mild scratcher you might find these helpful or if your cat has only one tiny area they scratch, but for me they didn't work at all."

They work!
Date: June 13, 2006
"We had a horrible time with our cat scratching the furniture and NOTHING was working. Finally I decided to try Sticky Paws (I don't know why I waited so long) and they worked! These were the only things that worked to get our cat to stop scratching the furniture and she finally started using her scratching post. As someone else mentioned, they do tend to come easily, especially with my two toddlers running around. But it is not a big deal for me to replace them. I would recommend them to anyone who has a "scratchey" kitty!"

Great Product
Date: March 25, 2006
"My cat Chesapeake has a habit of jumping onto my night stand when he wants me to get up. He moves whatever I have laying on it around. I bought the sticky paws and applied it to the night stand last night. He did get up there but was surprised by the sticky product and quickly jumped down. I would buy these again. "

WORKS to Keep Cats Off Counter
Date: January 27, 2006
"My cats used to jump onto the counter from the barstools. When I first applied the strips to the edge of the counter, they would put one paw on it, make a strange face, and pull the paw away. They tested the sticky counter several times and now they don't even bother trying to get onto the counter. The strips worked well on our finished wood floor, too, to keep the cats from going upstairs. The strips stuck fine to OUR fabric couch, but I didn't want to cover the whole couch with them, so I gave up that attempt. Good thing most of our couches are leather and the cats leave them alone. In response to other customers saying the the strips need to be bigger: they come in rolls and also in 9X12" sizes."

This product does NOT work
Date: December 13, 2005
"We have a cat that loves to scratch the corner of our couch, so this product seemed like a perfect solution for this annoying problem. When I tried to stick one of the sheets to my couch it simply fell off. We have a fabric couch so this shouldn't have happened according to the packaging. I tried everything, but to no avail, and ended up throwing them out. Don't buy this, it seriously doesn't work."

Sticks to People too

"These doubled sided adhesive strips are a good idea for deterring cats from clawing furnture. I would buy them again but do wish there were some bigger strips in the pack as I'd like to cover a larger area. They come off easily enough and don't seem to stain.
A few notes: I put some on the back of 2 chairs and turned red when my guests' hair got pulled! "
