This works!!!!! I highly recommend it!!!! It has saved me the heartache of getting rid of an otherwise really nice dog (beagle)who barked non-stop

Not would I buy this product again, I am buying this product again, that is why I am here.
We have raised everything from Sheps to St. Bernards with Dobies and Great Danes in between and do own a 3/4 Mile Innotek Training Collar System that we paid over $400.00 for about 8-years ago. I don't know if the waterproofing wasn't so water proof or what but it was an incredible waste of cash as it was dead within 6-months. It's in storage in its fancy case collecting dust. On the other hand one of our Danes in particular just wouldn't shut up so we used one of these PetSafe collars from PetCo and boy did this huge Adult Dane push it. But the collar pushes back and despite being constantly antagonized by some 12-14 year young unattended neighbor girls our Dane finally shut up. It was a tough situation as our Danes were being antagonized but we had plenty of other innocent neighbors and although ALERTING is Acceptable Behavior, barking non-stop ... especially when we are gone and unable to correct on our own, is unacceptable. I always felt guilty using the hand control anyways so using this PetSafe product kept it between the dog's will and the collars durability. Our last one got the job done so all these years later with a new house and vocal Rott I'm going with Quality & Price - PetSafe!! The Citrinella Collars didn't work for us, didn't work for our neighbors or their dog whom all the other neighbors called in before we ever bought the house. The Static Stimulant collars make everyone happy except your pet as they do shut any barking dog up that I have ever used them on including a pair of Huge Great Danes once again. They also make a GREAT GIFT for neighbors with chronically barking dogs, the price is less than sleepless nights, disturbing afternoons and Neighbor Wars.

I got this collar for my Lab a few years ago when my townhouse neighbor was complaining about her barking during the day. This has turned out to be a lifesaver! She has only had to bark once to realize what the collar was for. We've even been able to still use it even if the battery needed replacing because she just knew. I highly recommend this for anyone in the same living situation or a dog that just barks for no reason. I work at a veterinarians office and I feel this is very humane.

I adopter a 3 Y/O Cocker-Poo from from a shelter. I quickly learned he has separation issues, non-stop, and very loud barking, not to mention scratching everything up to get out when left alone (even taking out the garbage). Crating helped with the scratching not being home, but not the barking. I tried the pills for a week (no help), the Sonic systems next week (no help), finally got this, after 30 minutes of him being uncomfortable from testing the system, he has now stopped barking. Must be used every day! I had the battery die, but just having it on keeps him from all-day barking.

I bought this because I had a yappy BichonFrise,she would bark at any noise plus the usual,people and other dogs. I just couldn't put up with all this barking and instead of getting rid of her,we loved her, I bought this. The first time she barked she jumped and did't expect it but after the 3rd time she was quiet and has been since then. I really like it and would recomend this to anyone. Its great! I love the quiet now.

I no longer have to listen to my little dogs bark incessantly at all of the other dogs in the neighborhood. I just take them off for feeding & when we're relaxing at home with them inside. And it only took 2 days of wearing for them to get the hint and for peace & quiet to reign. YAY!

I previously tried the citronella collar and should have saved my money. This collar works great !!! The first time my guy got zapped I felt a little guilty. But it only took that one time. If he forgets, he gets a "free" bark, then he hears the beep and knows not to bark again. He can even do a little "chuff" and not get zapped. I highly recommend this collar.

This product does exactly what it should. Stopped my dog from barking. Only problem is the by-product is now he kinda whines to keep the device from triggering. However, I use it daily because it keeps him from annoying the neighbors and me. :)

I was VERY nervous to use this collar on my 9 month old beagle/basset hound mix (~20 pounds). After months of trying to deal with his barking/howling, our neighbors finally complained. We tried everything else (yelling at him, ignoring it, increasing exercise, increasing toys to play with, leaving him home alone with stuffed Kongs... ), so this collar was really a last resort.
I have been using it for a week, and after 2-3 days my dog stopped barking. He is much calmer and has started to FINALLY just lay down and relax when I am not home, or when I am home but cannot give him attention. I really wish I had purchased this sooner because it really would have saved me a lot of stress and headaches. I plan on using the collar for at least another month before I see how he is without it... but at this rate it seems like he will be fine with out the collar before too long. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is in the same position I was in: dog that barks when he is alone, dog that barks out of boredom, neighbors complaining, & you frustrated!

We have an excitable 10 year old chihuahua mini pin cross who barks a lot. We have been unsuccessful in controling this. We bought a bike cart for him, and he would bark for 8 miles until he was exhausted. After reading all of the positive reviews, we bought the collar. We used it for the first time today, and I have nothing but positive words for this collar. It was easy to adjust to his small neck size. It took three corrections, but he stopped barking before we even left our property! We stopped at a park to let him out for water break. A large dog came up with his owner. This has always been another trigger for uncontrollable barking and aggressive behavior. We could tell it delivered the stronger correction which had silenced him the last time. Again, after three barks, he stopped barking. What we both noticed, is that he was so much calmer. He laid in the cart bed, and was so relaxed. He didn't appear traumatized in the least. In fact, he seemed happier. We took it off when we got home, and praised him. Another trigger for the barking is the mailman. We had been home about an hour when mailman came. He jumped off the sofa for his usual hyper routine. I told him no, and he immediately went back to sofa, and laid down. Mind you, the collar was off. I am so impressed with this collar!!! I highly recommend it to anyone who has a uncontrollable barking dog. I will update review in about a month to say if this miracle collar is still working. I am sure it will be.

I have two yorkies who bark constantly at the neighbor. Since my house is on stilts with the front doors directly facing eachother my poor neighbor had to resort to sneaking into his house!! I bought one of these collars a few months ago to give it a try after the sonic egg had failed miserably. It worked wonderfully! One of my dogs won't even consider barking when the collar is on, the other takes a few corrections to get the picture. I tried the collar myself and it was not a shock but more of the feeling you get when you walk across carpet with socks on. More of a surprise than an actual shock! I purchased a second one last week so both dogs can have one on at the same time! Works great!!!

I bought this for my dog because he likes to bark at EVERYTHING. We put the battery in and tested it out. It worked. Put it on him and it only worked for about a week. So we decided to get new batteries. Not one, but two. Tried those. And it still didn't work. I am never buying this type again. I would've returned it but I had already thrown away the receipt.

We tried everything to get our 6 year old Yorkiecoccapoo Mix to stop barking at the Mailman and anyone else that approached the house. Not just bark but going Psycho/Tazmanian Devil on them. Just a few days with the collar and he is an angel. He leaves the front window when the Mailman approaches where he used to be impossible to keep away. We tried everything and this was the best decision. Only two or three "YIpes" and now perfect behavior...Thanks

I really didn't want a "shock" collar for my dog, I thought it was too drastic of an approach, but needed to do something about the unnecessary barking and decided tp try it. It's been a week or so and it has proven itself to be an excellent deterrent. They suggest that you be nearby during first use. Our dog looked so surprised when it buzzed her, but she was okay with it-a week later and the barking is truly much less.I didn't know if it would work-she is a very willful Blue Heeler and saved the box in case I needed to return it. I don't think I'll need to.

Very good at first, it does work very! But once you replace the battery it never works again, or at least mine didn't. So instead of buying a battery I am having to buy another collar.

I tried it for several days, maybe my pet (mix puddle) is super hyper and she didn't even feel the shock, or the bark control doesn't work. I'll return it this weekend.

This PetSafe Bark Control Pet Training System worked like a miracle on our hound who constantly barked at everything. We originally tried a spray collar which he eventually ignored. The PetSafe Bark Contol collar produced immediate results and our dog doesn't mind wearing it. We highly recommend this collar for the constant barker.

After putting the collar on my Cockapoo, Toffy, She refused to utter a sound for over a day. Then she barked and did a back flip! The collar worked for two days and then she started barking again... may be it is out of batteries? I order extras but they did not come... So I am going to get new ones and see if it works again.
