"Our kitten LOVES these! I got him some when I realized he can play fetch. We had a toy that he loved, but it started falling apart because he'd fetch it over and over for us, so I saw these and they seemed perfect: light, bouncy, and soft enough for him to pick up with his teeth.
He'll play forever with these! I even have a few videos of him playing with them!"

"my cat luvs to play with all types of balls, but really likes these. they are soft, so when she is playing by herself, she grabs them and they attatch to her claws, and she just starts waving her paw in the air to try and release it. when it does, she runs after it. i even throw them at her and she luvs them. they last a long time to. best ever..."

"My Siamese cat Samantha loves to play fetch. She is very particular on what kind of ball it is. She only likes to fetch the Sponge ball. She will play for hours as long as you throw the ball and she even catches it!"

"My husband picked up these at the brick-and-mortar store when we were buying litter in preparation for the arrival of our kitten, Mimic. He liked them because of the golf ball shape. Since Mimic has come home, he has decided to claim our carpeted stairs as his very favorite playground. So every day, we play "chase the foamy golf ball up and down the stairs!" Because of the way the two-tone balls are made, the balls bounce a little unpredictably, keeping things interesting. They're very soft, so they basically can't hurt him. I know he loves them because he chirps for them when he can't find them. These are a fabulous toy at a good price."

"I have purchased many different types of toy balls for my cat, but these are IT. She will play fetch with them for hours! They are lightweight, won't damage anything they are thrown at, and squishy which makes them easy for my cat to pick up with her teeth.
The only cons - after a LONG time playing with them (we're talking a year), the outer layers of the material get torn away (probably because of her teeth) and it makes them lumpy and odd-shaped; not to mention I find little bright colored bits of the balls all over my house. They also tend to pick up all kind of dust from getting stuck under couches/behind dressers/etc. BUT, they are so affordable and easily replaced- and my cat is obsessed with them!"

Cats Can Fetch

"Who would have thought that a cat would like to chase balls?
When I got my kitten last spring, I bought some new toys. I got these balls, not thinking she would like them. I was wrong. Princess loves to catch them on the fly or chases them across the room.
Other reasons I like them: They are lightweight and will not break anything. They are inexpensive and easily replaced. Most importantly, they are very quiet.
The only bad thing is that they are a bit too light and it is hard to bounce. I guess heavier balls are meant for dogs."

"My cat absolutely loves these balls. She's turning one next week and I got her these for her birthday. I've never seen her play with anything else so much! They are spongy which is great, because she can carry them in her mouth perfectly. They bounce very well and they roll a lot, which my cat loves. I'm going to buy a few more packs for her, because they are so much fun. They can get lost easily, but that's true about most cat toys. I'm glad I read the reviews about this product becuase they convinced me to buy it."

"Some cats might like to chase the ball but not the 2 cats that I adopted. I thought this would be a great toy for them as the balls are soft and non-breakable. Neither of them like to play with the balls. I even placed them in a bag with catnip as someone suggested. They sniffed the balls, rubbed their cheeks on the balls, but were not interested in playing with the balls. I bounced the balls, threw the balls and had to retrieve the balls myself. The cats are only interested in the LASER LIGHT and a teaser toy that I created myself by attaching a shoelace to a dowel. When I purchased the teaser in the store they weren't interested in chasing the toy at the end of the string. They were only interested in chasing the moving string."

"I love these silent sponge balls and you will too. Cats can be very active at night. Most sleep all day, but when it is your turn they want to play. No bells, no banging, no problem. Try that with hard plastic balls with bells. Put one in the bath tub and it will keep your wild cat occupied for hours."

"These little sponge balls are SO hard to find! I got a couple packs from Petco when we first got our kitten last year, and hadn't seen them anywhere since.
Our cat has a big basket filled with various toys, and he would dig through everything to get his sponge balls out. He'd bat at them, kick them around the house, bite them and carry them around, and even jump up onto a chair with a ball in his mouth, and then drop it just to catch it again when it bounced!
He had a thing for carrying these balls downstairs to the basement though, where we could never find all of them. They disappear at a rate of about 3 a month in our house. So now that they're finally in stock again, I'm stocking up!"

"my cat is a spoiled rotten cat ,i just love him,he is now 3 years old and he has been playing with these balls for 3 years and they are hard to find,i found them once at a grocery store then when he lost them all i searched all over to find them and could not until i went on petco.com.i am very pleased with my cats toys and i am sure if he could talk he would say thank you very much ,he catchs it,fetchs it and hinds them when he does not want to play .i have bought alot of other balls for him but he sticks his nose up at them so i would like to say thank you for making my cat a happy one with his toys.petco is the best."

"Small enough to be picked up by a kitten, but can bounce high enough to entice a full-grown cat, this ball is perfect for felines who like to chase or (as in my case) play fetch. I worried that my cat's fangs would tear the ball to shreads but it's really resilient. Months of use, and it's still in perfect shape. Best part about it? I can let the cat play with it anytime because if I step on it by mistake, nothing breaks and it squishes down so flat I hardly notice I've stepped on it. Great toy!"

"My cat loves these.... and I cannot find them any where.... she plays fetch (yes like a dog) and loves to chase these things and since they are soft she can bring them back. The problem is after a while they get a little nasty and need to be replaced. Now that I have found them she is going to have more of them than she knows what to do with."

My cat LOVES these!!!

"My kitty absolutely loves these balls. She'll play fetch with them for hours and she loves to try to catch them and dribble them like a basket ball She also likes to carry them around in her mouth as if she caught her prey. Sometimes I wake up to having 2 or 3 in the bed with me because she brings them to me whenever she feels like playing fetch :-)
They do start to tear after a while but in my opinion that is to be expected! They are very inexpensive so I don't mind replacing them for her when they get "over-loved"!

"I have 3 cats with 3 differant personalities...and for once all 3 have found a toy they all can agree on. My little 2yr old will actually play fetch and will actually attempt to catch these. The balls are not hard for when she misses and they all will carry them in their mouths due to the flexability of the ball. This is a great product!"

"Our kitty orca loves these balls. He carries them all around and loves to throw them in the air and bat them. As far as the quality being average he tends to sometimes rip the sponge up with his teeth so we sometimes go have to replace them."
