"I currently have this bulb on a saltwater fish only tank with some caulerpa growing in it. This light produces enough to keep the macro-algae growing and some of the low light loving corals such mushrooms thriving. Your tank light is not a safe way to keep your tank heated to the proper temperatures, you should have a heater to keep the temperature stable. Your fish should live longer than 3 years with proper husbandry and set-up."
