Chappy LOVES Science Diet
Date: April 30, 2006
"Our cat Chappy loves Science Diet's dry cat food. He's in his senior years now, (age 12 almost) & most if not all of his life he's been on Science Diet in the various stages and based on his dietary needs at those times & it's what he's loved the best & continues to love. It has always met & continues to meet his dietary needs. He's been on Science Diet's Senior Hairball Control Formula for almost 5 years now and he LOVES it. It really does cut down on the number of hairballs he has and he is a very furry cat. We have always depended on Science Diet to give our cat the nourishment he needs along with good taste & texture and we have never been disappointed. It's the ONLY food we give him because it's the only kind he'll eat. We stick with what works. We give Science Diet 5 Paws because it deserves 5 Paws!"

5 paws!
Date: March 9, 2008
"This food has been wonderful. My 11 year old, long-haired cat has been miserable and throwing up other kinds of food. The vet told me he just has a very sensitive stomach. My cat is doing very well on this food and he loves it. Currently, there isn't a comparable product on the market."

Food alone won't do all the work
Date: January 6, 2008
"I changed my ten year old cat Boots to this last year from Science Diet Light formula in hopes of getting rid of his hairballs since he is a long haired cat. So far it isn't working much differently than his old food, even though my mom says it is a little better. I think in order for this food to work properly you need to use with hairball control treats (Boots hates them), shed reducing shampoo and regular brushings."

Change Is Good!
Date: November 23, 2006
"My best friend, Rudy, happens to be my cat who I adopted from a shelter 3 years ago. He just turned 7. Even though he is brushed and groomed on a regular basis, he was still having hairballs on too regular a basis to suit me, and the offwhite carpet in my house! And I'm sure he doesn't like it either. I had tried him on several different brands of food, but none seemed to affect the occurence of hairballs. About 3 months ago, I started him on Science Diet Hairball Senior dry food and also he gets a small can of the SD Hairball Senior wet food about once a week as a treat. In the past, any changes in his diet would cause upset stomach for several days until his system got used to it. And any kind of wet food caused problems. Well, he has only had one hairball and no stomach upset on the Science Diet food. He loves both kinds of his new food and I love not having to clean up hairballs! I wish I had changed to this long ago; but now I know and won't change. At least as long as he will eat it, and that doesn't appear to be a problem at all. Thanks so much, Rudy and his Mama"

HILLS'S SCIENCE
Date: November 2, 2006
"I have a 12 year old cat. We have tried every brand out on the market and Poa, our cat, has consumed 3 bags of the Hill's Brand food and has been happy since changing.
She had a major problem w/hair balls but with Hill's Brand she has not had any hair balls! As a veterinary asst. still in school and as an owner of a cat I really reccomend this brand of food. Of course see your Vet. on any questions you have but Hill's has and always will be my choice.
Thank you Hill's Science!!!"

Larger shape good for old cat teeth
Date: November 1, 2006
"The vet recently changed my cat's diet from SD Light to Senior. Shortly after starting that food, I noticed my cat who rarely got hairballs was having them more often. So I switched her to this Senior Hairball Control. I was pleased to see that this kibble is different shape -- larger and like little pyrimid shapes. The hairballs have stopped and an added bonus for me is that my cat finds this shape easier to eat. When she eats the usual SD shape (little pellets) there were always half broken ones left behind all around her bowl. For some reason, she must find this shape easier to eat because the area around the bowl is a lot cleaner. She seems happy with it, and I am too!"

Science Diet Senior Hairball dry food
Date: January 18, 2006
"Both my cats love it- won't eat anything else and haven't for years (they're 16). Even though both have renal disease and should be on a urinary tract diet they will not eat anything else and they're still not getting any worse 5 years after their original diagnosis."

Wonderful for my "little" furballs!
Date: December 3, 2005
"One of my cats has very thick, plush fur, and as a result she sheds quite a bit. After about a month of eating the science diet hairball formula for seniors, I've noticed a little less shedding and a LOT less hairballs. It's been great for my cat, my carpet, and my sanity."
