"I don't have a ferret but I do have a very special rat. He's my last of my gang of 23 and when he started loosing weight I feared he was going to pass on too. (He's 2.5 which is getting up there in age for a rat) I bought some of this in hopes to put some extra calories in his diet to help gain some weight. I give him a little bit each night before bed and it's his favorite treat! Soon as he see's me coming with the bottle in hand he's at the door and soon as it's opened he jumps out and tries to grab at the bottle!! Since giving him Ferretvite he's put on a few oz and his coat is SO SHINEY!!! I can't even believe how shiney it is! And soft! Plus he's a lot more active! I highly recommend this to people with older rats or rats that need some weight."

"I bought this product because my husband thought our Slinky was very skinny compared to other ferrets, and it's definitely put a little meat on her bones. She looks much healthier since we started feeding it to her. Another plus is that she LOVES it which is weird considering she is so picky. Other than her 8 in 1 food and Ferret Lax, this is all she eats. I've tried several different treats, and she just turns her nose up at them. So it's healthy and tasty...ya just can't go wrong!"

Great for sickly fuzzie

"One of our ferrets went off her dry food and over the course of two weeks became very thin and her coat lost it's sheen & fluffiness. We were concerned about what might be wrong with her, and made a point of feeding her the FerretVite several times per day. I also took a very small amount of dry food, softened it in warm water and added a little Ferretvite & Ferretone to the mix, feeding her separately for the week. She ate her little tummy full and within 24 hours she was back to nibbling her dry food again and within the week filled out and become fluffy & healthy looking again. Our daughter noticed a definite difference from one week to the next when she came to visit. Both our ferrets love FerretVite (it's their very favorite treat) and it really does make "nail time" easier and more pleasant for all involved."
