Tried Twice and Failed
Date: April 23, 2008
"To start off with it is hard to scoop especially with liquid waste. I tried it twice, you know to give it a second chance. Also my kitty didnt like it at all he was always really hesitant to go near the litter box when I used it."

LOVE IT!!!
Date: March 17, 2008
"I just recently adopted a 2 month old kitten from our local humane society and this is the littler they gave me when I left. All I can say is I love it!! It has a nice pine smell if you like pine and when your cat or kitten does thier business the pellets break down into saw dust. It keeps the urine smell way down but doesn't really do much for the BM smell.
I keep the littler box in the bathroom so if my kitten does his business and it smells, I just scoop it out and flush it away. Love that...
I've tried all other sorts of litter and this is the one that I've liked the best.

Not so good
Date: February 10, 2008
"I really wanted to like this litter. But I just didn't. I liked the idea of all natural and it did prevent the whole dust thing. But oh my goodness did it stink. You could smell everything in the box, and mine is in a secluded area. Plus, my cats wouldn't hardly urinate in it. So I was lucky to find little rivers all over the house. We just switched back to regular litter the other day and are much happier."

lasts a long time
Date: February 9, 2008
"This litter keeps the orders down the best and a twenty pound bag fills my litter box 6 times. It goes very far. It doesn't make as much of a mess like other litters."

Great for outdoor cats
Date: February 8, 2008
"My cats are both mainly outdoor cats and don't normally use a litter box. In the Northern IL winters it is sometimes too cold to let them stay out. I've tried every type of litter available and this is the ONLY litter they will use! I like it because it truly absorbs the odors - no smelly litter boxes - and it is very environmentally safe. If you have a "fussy" outdoor cat that hesitates to use a litter box, try this brand."

Interesting Consept
Date: February 8, 2008
"Works well but you have to totally replace the litter after 2 weeks b/c the litter is all saw dust. Litter does not help with the smell of BM. You have to flush the BM right away or the smell fills the area of the litter box."

Amazing litter
Date: February 5, 2008
"My cats refuse to use clumping litter, or scented litter. I hate cleaning out clay litter, it's so heavy, and smells awful. Feline pine pellets break down into light, fluffy sawdust when they get wet, and don't have the overwhelming ammonia smell from the cat urine. Plus, if you sprinkle some of the used sawdust in your garden, it will scare away pest animals like chipmunks and rabbits without adding clay to the soil."

ok
Date: January 26, 2008
"My cat didn't like this any better or any worse than traditional litter. It's ok. I did get to put it outside as "mulch", which was nice instead of having to throw it in the garbage like traditional litter."

Fantastic Product!
Date: January 25, 2008
"I use the regular pelleted Feline Pine for my ferrets and the scoopable for my cats - my cats wouldn't use the pelleted formula so I'm very glad they came out with a scoopable. I love it for my ferrets as they can be such stinky little guys. It controls their waste odor better than any other product I've tried. I just fill the bottom tray of their cage with the litter rather than try to train them to use a litter box. It helps control their own odor, too, since they use half of their tray to dig and play in. The only complaint I have about the scoopable litter I use for my cats is it tracks out of the box but so did the clay litter I used previously and this is much easier on my vacuum cleaner! I feel better about not exposing my cats to all the chemicals in clay litter."

Fights odors
Date: January 22, 2008
"While the large pieces of litter make it difficult to scoop without wasting existing litter, this product goes a long way to fight odors. It excels in fighting odor even after days of use. The natural pine makes for easy disposal, too."

This is the best litter out there!
Date: January 21, 2008
"Feline Pine is by far the best litter I've ever purchased for my 3 cats. For how much they use the litter box, nothing smells and it's easy clean up. I also use it for my rabbit's litter box and it works just the same. I would definatly recommend this brand to every cat owner out there. =)"

Nice natural litter
Date: January 20, 2008
"I don't have cats, but I used this litter for my small rabbits who are litterbox trained. Since rabbits are so low to the ground, clay litters clump in their airways and I have to use natural litters. Also, they tend to eat it a little. This litter is edible and smells nice, but it didn't mask the scent as well as I had hoped. It was fairly easy to scoop, since rabbits use one or two corners exlusively and heavily. It disintegrated pretty badly, making it great for flushing, but it also tracked pretty badly and stuck in between their toes. I would recommend it for one animal, if you like the smell of pine, but I think multiple pets tax its odor elimination power."

Doesn't smell, recycles
Date: January 20, 2008
"My cat has a high "output," and the clay litter just turned to big, stinking globs of clay before I could scoop it out. Honestly, it was like working with smelly pottery. She hated it and I did too. We switched to Feline Pine and it's terrific. I don't notice any smell, and when it gets wet the pellets just turn to dust. As soon as the box is filled with mostly sawdust, it's time to change the box. Technically you could put the sawdust in your garden or compost pile but that's a little too ick for me. I put it in the paper lawn bags that my city requires and throw it away. It's nice to know that it will decompose naturally at the dump. You can get a coupon for a rebate on your first bag on their web site.
Cons: you can flush it away, but sometimes the sawdust doesn't flush completely. You need a special scoop to easily scoop out solids. I find that it doesn't last as long as the bag claims, but as previously mentioned my cat urinates a LOT. (checked with the vet--nothing wrong with the cat) We were going through clay really fast too. I am very grateful for Feline Pine!"

Fantastic product
Date: December 27, 2007
"Being a cat owner for 23 years I have gone through my fair share of litter products. Since using Feline Pine for the last three years I no longer have to hold my breath to clean the litter. And the "sawdust" that is created is excellent for the garden. This will be used in my home as longer as I have cats."

disappointed
Date: December 16, 2007
"I wanted a safe litter, for both my cat's health and the environment, and Feline Pine seemed to be the one. I loved the fresh pine scent and how it seemed to neutralize the urine odor. My cat was fine with it while I mixed it with her clumping litter, but as soon as I switched to straight Feline Pine Buttercup started to urinate in other places. She just didn't like using it."
