"Hikari algae wafers are loved by all the fish in our tank, plecos, catfish, cichilds, angels, danos and even our ghost knife comes out of hiding when we drop them in!... Sadly enough our cat stole one out of the bag one day and now thinks they are his treats! although I wouldn't recommend giving them to your cat it's funny to watch him beg when it's feeding time for "HIS" fish tank!"

"My CAE absolutely loves these discs. I simply plop one in and he pounces on it. The disc itself sinks very nicely and does not decompose once nibbled, but keeps its structure. A bag of these should last a long while and is a good way to give a treat to your beloved algae fish for keeping the tank looking pristine."

"My crayfish, Bubba, loves these. I`ve had him for at least 6 months now, and this is all he eats, well, along with his moult. I`ll definantly keep feeding him this. He`s been eating this since he was 3 weeks old."

"You need this if you have any Algae Eaters or Bottom Feeders. They cannot eat just algae in the tank alone. This has worked for me with:

"I bought these to fulfill the nutritional requirements of my Otocinclus Catfish, and they are doing better than ever. With the addition of these wafers, I see my otos more often! Before they'd hide most of the day, and I'd see them for a minute or two before the lights went off, but now, whenever I throw an algae wafer in the tank, my Otocinclus come a swimming!"

"I bought a little packet for my bottom feeders and they seem to enjoy it. However, the product does cloud my water sometimes. Also, sometimes the fish can't find it and it ends up uneaten and wasted."

Must For Bottom Feeder Tanks "Especially Loachs"

"Great product for feeding the bottom fish in your tank especially when first setting up a tank. Not just bottom fish eat them but most fish will nibble on them. Those with loaches in their tank should use them at least every other day. They help keep them happy and seem to help with giving them a more defined color, especially in the older fish."

"I gave this to my Algae Eater Tiger and split them in half everyother night and he goes crazy over them and I recommend them to my friends who have algae eaters. I give tiger only half because I know that's what he can eat and this product does not cloud the water either."

"We purchased these algae wafers the day we got our two small plecos. Putting them in the tank, they were very stressed at first, and when we placed the algae wafers with them, they calmed almost immediately and have been doing beautifully ever since. One of my concerns was the wafers clouding the water, and that didn't happen in the least bit. Our two plecos have been very happy with their 1-wafer per day diet, and I will definitely continue buying this brand."

"I origanlly got these for the two snails I had. I had a mystery snail that as soon as I put one of these in the tank it would slide over and devour it. Believe it not my goldfish wold swim down and take bites off it as well, which is good because algae is a healthy treat for them. My cory catfish does not seem to like them though"

"These algae wafers are ok but they sometimes end up in the filter after you put it in. Also the algae eater fish(that was his job) couldn't find the wafers half the time. When he did find it though, he ate it all up! They definatly like these, but you have to feed it to him at one or two times at each day at the same times and same place each time."
