"This product absores ok but not great. Except to see wet spots at the bottom of your tank while cleaning. It also smells bad at the end of the week. I had to mix it with another bedding. The bags are small and you dont get a lot for the money."

"This is great for bunnies, I use it along with a layer of ammo litter on the bottom and I never notice the odor anymore. I used to use it for mice, they loved burrowing in it, but it didn't control the odor even with ammo litter underneath. I started using the critter country bedding for themand it is like there aren't even mice in my girls room."

"I have been using this bedding exclusively for my 2 guinea pigs for close to 3 years. I have no complaints about the quality of the bedding itself but....
I used to get 2 1/2 bedding changes per 60L bag, now I can barely get 2 bedding changes out of it! Despite that the price has gone up considerably over the years!!
........
I am in the process of contacting the manufacturers about this. I wonder if anyone else noted these changes? If so, I would contact them as well!"

"It was recommended that I get Care Fresh or pine bedding when I got my Hamster.
Pros:
.Soft
.came in different colors
.made of recycled matirial
Cons:
.I have to change the bedding twice a week. the bottom of my hammy's cage is 2 ftx2 ft. the smallest bag size for me lasts only a week so it is expensive
turns out my hammy like the pine shaving best. She even uses it as nesting."

"with this bedding. All carefresh bedding is great. Very little to no dust and is the only bedding that doesn't irritate or harm my ferrets, rats, guinea pig, and rabbit. If your looking for a great bedding, I suggest this one. Its absorbant and hold odor. Just perfect."

"I got this bedding for my hamster because her cage would stink really bad after 2 or 3 days. The cage stopped stinking as bad and I couldn't smell anything after I started using it. It isn't the best but it's in my top 3 list."

"I use this litter for my four female rats, and it is perfect. Rats cannot have wood litter, and this is a great alternative. It is far more absorbent than anything else and doesn't need as much cleaning. It is also cheap, which is good (more money for toys). Getting the carefresh ultra isn't necessary, but the regular bedding works just as well."

"When i still had my hamster, this was the ONLY bedding i used. i think it was good since my hamster would roll around in it and burry in it, also it doesnt smell. its worth every penny. Only bedding i would ever get."

"This bedding really works! I line our guinea pig's cage with newspaper, then cover half the cage with the bedding. Carefresh may cost more than pine, but it's much better for your piggy than pine, and for the odor control alone, this bedding is worth every penny."
